Good Monday evening, my Christmas friends!
I'm supposed to be on vacation in the mountains today, but my better half changed my plan. Now we're leaving at 6:30 in the morning. They say the snow is a foot deep, but I ain't skeered!
We actually got a lot of snow down here yesterday, but it just wouldn't stick. The ground was wet and it was 34° - 35° all day. It was nice to see, though. We all got dressed and walked around in it, taking pictures. LOL!
Ill be away for a few days. I'll miss you guys, and I should check in by Friday. Maybe sooner if I can get to a computer. One day I'm gonna buy a laptop.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! cheesy
I hope you both have a wonderful and safe vacation!Off to Niagara Falls when breakfast is ready (home made egg mcmuffins)
No Internet at this place unless we pay extra and we refuse, so I will talk to you all again in a couple of days!

I mentioned before about the possibility of me moving to first shift, well I still haven't heard anything. I guess they are waiting until after the new year. It is driving me crazy though, I just wish they would tell me something. Everybody (including my supervisor) thinks I will get it because I am the most qualified, I will require very little, if any, training. I hope they are right!
... I also juts bought 12 cans of organic canned pumpkin from Amazon for $10.20, like a crazy person. Gotta be prepared for next year's baking, ha!!!
1499 posts... almost 1500, after nearly 2.5 years!
Are we there yet? Are we there yet???
Not too far off until we get there! =)
I came across a good column today, about celebrating all the days of Christmas, not just Christmas Day. The columnist sounds like she belongs here on the forums!

I have faith that you can reach 4000 before the year ends! cheesyCongratulations!!! I set a personal goal to reach 3,000. When I reached that in December of this year, I reset my goal to 4,000. I don't think I'll quite be able to reach it, but I will try.

UGH! I just got myself motivated to clean up our spare bedroom. I put my sweats on, pulled my hair up, put on a my Abbey Road Beatles CD got to the second song while moving some boxes and pulled my back out! They were light boxes but I made a wrong move. I pulled it so bad that I got nauseated and felt like I was going to pass out. I have pulled my back before but never felt like that. Thank God my dad is here! I hollered for him and he helped me to bed and got me some medicine.
I am laying here real still with my laptop waiting for the Advil to kick in. I am so upset. Cleaning out that room is something I needed to do for awhile now but either I am too busy, tired or just not in the mood for it. I got the week off and was in the mood to get it done!
Oh well, I guess I will enjoy some MMC time and Christmas movies today and make the best of it. cheesy
