Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!! It is another cold and cloudy day here. I ran to the grocery store this morning and now I am back home to do some more cleaning. I am pretty tired to day for some reason so I might even sneak a nap in this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I stayed up on the 23rd to see what all the excitement was about the Darlene Love-fest. It wasn't the spiritual experience for me that it seemed to be for some of you...:cry: My bedtime is 10 p.m., not 12:30 a.m.! DH would have DVR'd it for me, but I thought it would be more exciting to be there in person. I was thinking of you all!

Christmas was good---we had a White Christmas for the first time since 1976! Christmas Day it snowed until late afternoon, then a break. We had no trouble getting to see both sets of parents. Christmas night it started snowing again, but the roads got icy too. We missed church on Sunday, but had a relaxing Sunday and Monday before venturing out Monday night for dinner & Wal-Mart run. That made Christmas seem longer for me.

Looking forward to a new year with all of you.

Good afternoon,

Sitting here watching The Santa Clause 2, our kitten Gomez is at the vets for his neutering, and I had a dental appointment today, while driving I found a radio station that is playing non-stop Christmas music still. I was thrilled to find it. It is a Catholic station so they will be playing it through Jan. 6 both religious and secular songs. I feel more in the Christmas spirit than I did on the 26th, still no sign of those dreaded blues, and I feel for all of you who are dealing with them right now.

Merry 4th day of Christmas my friends!

I did have a great Christmas... at some moments I let it get me down, but most of the time, it was amazing, one of the best ever!
Today we went to the bank about the financial aspects of our house, and it seems we have it all arranged yet! Tomorrow we our going to talk about the date it will be done, and about the price, we might even buy it tomorrow!! that would be a great way to end this year!!
