Christmas Countdown - 2011

Same here in northern California. One good thing is that you can plan a picnic for practically any day during the summer and it won't rain. We get thunder and lightning in the winter, SOMETIMES!! When I was a kid in the south, the thunderstorms (or thunderboomers as some of the weathermen would say) would scare me to death!
The problem with our summers here that they are way too hot! The only thing you can plan to do outdoors is swim and that's it! Last summer I would take the kids outside around 8:00 am and it was already too warm. We would only last about 20 minutes. I am not too fond of summer as you can tell! cheesy
I have been to California a couple of times to visit Disneyland during the summer. The weather was great! I remember we stayed at a hotel in walking distance to Disney. We had asked if there was a good Mexican food restaurant within walking distance and they warned us that the temperature was really hot and to be careful. It was only in the 80's. I told them it was fantastic weather! We walked there and back and it felt great! Dealing with 100 plus temps here, that weather was very nice!
My mother was born in Los Angeles, California and lived in Naples, Long Beach, Garden Grove and somewhere else. I cannot remember the other place. Somewhere on the penisula, (not sure exactly where). She even sang in a choir for the grand opening of Disneyland! Wow, I got way off topic from the weather. What I was getting at is my mom sure loved the weather there too!

Had to get some running around done and had a couple of appointments. I will be going to the school tomorrow to get the rest of my paper work picked up.

Well it's luinch time.this morning flew by quick! I won't be around here much more today and for sure over the weekend since I'm going camping out of town. so goodbye for now and everyone have an awesome weds!

Hello again, my Christmas family !
After my last post about work being so slow, etc. I just HAD to share this with all of you, my precious Christmas Cousins !
I GOT ANOTHER JOB OFFER FOR MORE MONEY !!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo Right ??
Of course I accepted it. It is still as a transcriptionist working at home but it is night shift and that is fine with me. Half the time I am up at night anyway. I just tested for them yesterday and the recruiter called me first thing this morning. She said I did a very nice job on the test.
This is a true miracle and much needed !!
Thank you for always being here for me when I am sad (which is most of the time) and for when I am joyous like now. You are an incredible group of people and as I have said before, I love EACH and EVERY ONE of you ! xo I am so blessed to know all of you.
Please keep me in your prayers that this was the right thing to do but I cannot help but think this was sent by God.

That is way to hot for me! I never do well in extreme heat.
I have lived here all my life and still don't do well. Lol!
I hope things pick up for you soon. I know whats thats like. I sub and there is an online system that the school districts use to post jobs. i am always on it , looking. I am good for this month . Febuary I dont really have anything. Its hard when its day to day like that.
