Hi every one! I am glad to announce that we are done building for now! now getting to enjoy being home in our new home! hope you enjoy looking forward to christmas!

It has been a busy morning we have a huge meeting scheduled here on Thursday, my boss said we'll need to CRANK the Christmas music maybe that will make everyone nicer!!! Ha, Ha, Ha... OK let we see what I missed over the weekend

Hey Christmas family! well we're back from the dr. now & daughters MRI was clear (thank you dear Lord) & her blood tests didn't raise any questions. it appears that the migraines are hereditary.doc has her on a preventive med that's usually used to treat seizures but has been found to be beneficial for prevention of migraines too. doc also gave her meds for migraines when they start. her sugar was borderline high @ fasting so he instructed her to drink lots more water, not juices. the preventive med makes soda ( which she loved @ 15) taste like metal & instead of drinking sugarless mixes or water she turned to juices. not any more, doc didn't like that @ all. she has to start w/ 32oz. a day & work herself up, then go back for more blood tests, but i do believe she'll be fine once off the juice.
i would like to thank each of you for praying for her. i was a bit worried this morning but didn't want her to know.
oh i almost forgot, i let her drive to the appt this morning as she has her learners permit. hubby always rode w/ our sons while learning. now i remember why. i am so impatient!! she did pretty good actually. it was just me. so if you're ever in South Carolina....look out!!

Yep that happened in San Diego, CA. The girl sat in her bedroom with a shotgun and just started shooting kids at the school house right across the street. When Asked why she did it she simply said"I hate mondays" she is in prison hopefully the rest of her life,she killed multiple people!

I had no idea that song was based on a true story - what a horrible thing to have happened!

Good afternoon, Christmas family!

I just got back from a very enjoyable outing - ate lunch out and did a bit of store merch searching - found some good things, I hope! It was gorgeous out earlier this afternoon and now that I am home and about to start work, the wind has kicked in big time and it has cooled way down. Brrrrrr - definitely a fall day today!

If I say the word "bath" around him he starts looking for an escape route...he knows something is up too.lol He is getting his nervous pace thing going back and forth. Thanks for sharing the good news! Not that hereditary migraines are exactly good news, but that it wasn't anything dangerous or mysterious.

I MADE IT! I'M 50!

There! Now that I have that out of my system, I can tell you about the advantages of having a 50th birthday;
1) Cake for breakfast
2) Some places still start with the Senior discounts when you're 50.
3) Going out to dinner.
4) Getting flowers from your Sister.

I'm enjoying myself hugely here at work, walking around in a shirt with a big Jack-O-Lantern on it that says "This is what 50 looks like". The patients think it's pretty funny. I think I'll wear it out to dinner- We're going to Baugher's Farm restaurant, and then we'll have a look at their flower and produce stand. It's such a lovely day for a ride, too. I can't wait to get off work so we can get started!

I live at the bottom of a mountain and its snowing up here my brother was up and he sent this , its really cold here at the moment just having a big bowl of potato and leek soup grrrrrrrrr

Morning everyone
Guess what its raining AGAIN to day. i know there is some of you guys say you wood love some rain but we get enough to do everyone. just sometimes you get fed up with it

Hope everyone is doing good . just think 10 weeks from today will be christmas eve.
Gonna try and get all done as quick as possable to day and then chill out( but am sure that wont happen )
One of my fella mates is on the drink again . was on it last week as well. he has a drink problem and everytime he falls of the wagon his mum calls on me as he had a history of being angry in drink. His dad was worst and think it left scares with the mum. she think every time the son goes on it .hes gonna be the same. so she takes panic attacks. cant eat and cant stay in the house.
I dont no what she thinks i can do with him as he is hard to talk to. but nothing beats trying. think she likes me there when he comes home as she thinks am not scared of him( i am a bit as i have seen his anger in drink, but i dont bow down to him) hes just one of these people that has a lot of anger inside him going away back to childhood and his teens,
She always calls on me as she know i use to work taking calls from people with problems who wanted to talk. so my day might be not so easy going !!!!!!!!!

Hi Christmas family! So I know I've missed a lot over the past couple of days! I had been reading some posts here and there, but then never got to reply. Weds and Thurs, my husband worked nights, which put him leaving for work around 4 and I worked nights too, so until my sister got here to watch the kids, I had them until I went to work around 10. I was busy with that and work in general. Thurs into Fri I ended up working a 12 hour shift - 8 pm and I never got out of there until 8 am, so I was very tired too and I ended up falling asleep last night at 9 pm on the couch.

Anyway, this weekend off. As I know that I have missed a lot, as much as I would like to get caught up on things, I know I will not have the time even the next two days to get caught up on everything. If there is any big news I missed, someone write back to me and let me know, PLEASE! Thanks! Otherwise, anyone who is feeling ill, I hope this finds you well. Anyone who is need of congrats, CONGRATS! Anyone you needs a prayer, I am sending you or you're family one now. If I left anything out, know that as a part of your Christmas family, I am still thinking about all of you!

We have lots of cleaning to do today, then we have a Halloween party to go to tonight. My parents are going to watch the kids for us so we can go. Hope everyone has great day and I will be checking back in. Oh and by the way, it's game day, go State!

We raised over $500 I could not believe it!!! We have another one scheduled for Nov 5th and a food drive, holy moly time is going too fast!!!

we have the same rule here! It started because I got tired of picking out a gift for them and then having them walk in the door with it after they bought it themselves!
Good rule to have.

That is a great idea, I should tell my girlfriend, her biggest complaint during Christmas is that her husband always "picks" up want he wants and she never knows what to get him!!! I am going to tell her what you and Xmas do!!! Cool & thanks!!!

We had a nice weekend. Our church went to see the movie Courageous yesterday afternoon. It is a great movie with a very powerful message.

My wife and I have been trying to find a night that we can go see Courageous, but homework and housework are taking over our lives! I've been following the movie's production since they started on it, and now I can't seem to find the time to actually go see it.

I've been told the message is challenging in a way that might frighten some fathers who've gotten used to being "good enough" (probably myself included). If it's that powerful, I need to see it sooner rather than later.
