Hi Everyone! I wanted to log in last week to say I just love my MMC Cookbook. And was really happy to see some of my recipes in it. I have been busy with work and also working on getting my tree(s) up. I plan to do a second tree this year and decorate it with vintage ornaments and such. I would like your input on which Angel tree topper I should use this year. Hope everyone is doing good. I still have lots of shopping to do and baking. I just love this time of the year. I am posting a picture on the Angel toppers. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I went to physical therapy this morning and had a hard time getting through. I then went for the IV Nutrients Therapy, but they wanted to delay it until next Wednesday. So here I sit, exhausted. And hungry after seeing Christmasstar's gorgeous creation. Everyone take care.

wow, am I tired! Just got back from taking my daughter home. Had trouble getting into the house, something wrong with the lock. All the petals are made for the poinsettias that will go on the cake for this Friday...also a competition, but this is a really fun one! Our church is having a desert extravaganza, and if you bring dessert you get in for free. The pastor and deacons and church staff are acting as judges in 6 different categories.
Should be a real fun Christmas party!

I am off to bed now so I can get up at 6am to start baking.

Love this one is well! It's so unique! I only got married 3 1/2 years ago and dresses have changed so much since then. I love the styles out now.

Well crap....Somebody has an appendicitis. Gonna be out for a day or so..they won't let me have coffee and I am not real happy about it.

Everyone in the family are sick or has been sick except for my son and I. Wayne, my mom, dad and my 3 grandkids have all been sick in the past several weeks. Now my son-in-law and daughter are real sick. I am usually the one that catches everything so I hope they don't give it to me!

Hope everyone in the family starts feeling better soon. Sounds like my household did for awhile.

Good morning my christmas friends! this beautiful little kitten above is the biggest reason I've not been here much the past few days. my 14 year old daughter found her when she was walking the Neighbours dog friday. all we did was took her inside the house. my 6 ft 4 200 pound husband took one look at her put the kitten on his chest, and now Hope Noel (yes folks, its even on the paper work from the vet) the kitten is apart of the family! All 1 pound 3 ozs of her. she has a very bad broke leg in witch she is having surgery this morning to fix. the reason they waited is because we had to give her antibiotics for an infection in her eye and dr.sullivan wanted to make sure they was in her system good then do the surgery(he said that would help her recover quicker too!). she also had abit of damage to her pelvis but she is pottying fine so the dr said we dont have too much worry about that from the x ray he took. and she is such a sweet little thing!!! I know who her owner was (who is 73 years young) and went to her, asking if we could keep her and with 3 other cats she said that was fine and she was blessed that we got her! we have also helped her find homes already for the brother and sister of hope, and me and another neighbour has gotton permission to go halfs have momma cat fixed.and mrs. betty is so happy for the help and dr sullivan is going to to that for half the cost because he knows we are trying to help mrs.betty out! so this has been a win-win deal for us all, and we are all blessed! so now I sit here waiting on word from the vet, on pins and needles! I know Hope is in wonderful hands but she is still a baby, our family's baby! everyone please keep little hope in your prayers! other than that Thanksgiving was fun and everyone is fine, well, and happy! as soon as i know anything I'll let yall know! take care and have a happy tuesday!!!!

I went to Hallmark yesterday to buy the Jingle cartoon /movie. Did anyone see that over the holiday weekend? I just loved it!

Yes! It was very cute! EA wanted to watch it all three times, but by the third time, I told her that Jingle went to sleep...haha. There were other Christmas things on tv to watch. When it went to commerical, she would start to fuss and say, "I want puppy!" It was sooo cute!

Good late morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny and chilly here in northern California. I did not do well at work yesterday. I was exhausted about 10 minutes into the afternoon. I finally sat down the rest of the school day. Later yesterday evening, I had such a fit of depression that I could not believe it.

Sorry that you're still not feeling well Seawaters, especially at this time of the year. I was glad to read later in the posts that you were going to get IV therapy. Hope it helps. Keep us updated. Praying that you feel better soon.

I left work early today because I suddenly felt just aweful, ate something that really did not agree with me. I am feel better now, just really tired.

Baby parriots all doing good. was up feeding then at 3.30 last night. . they get fed every 3 hours for the 1st week.

hey ya'll. did ya' miss me? computer went down, fried, & had to send it off to get fixed. it took 2 days & i missed ya'll really bad!! had a beautiful thanksgiving. daughter home sick w/ sore throat today. stopped & got her meds so hopefully she'll soon be better. my mama is trying to walk on her foot now. in case you forgot, she broke it. doc says it's ok for her to walk a little. daddy went to doc about his back. RA & narrowing of the vertebrea. doc is holding off on shots right now but did say if/when it starts up to call & he'll line the shots up for him.

I also wanted to add that my dad is being disharged from the hospital next monday the 5th of dec. We have gotten him into a nice nursing home that has a great reputation for rehab of stroke victims. they are saying he may be there for 6 months then he will be able to come home,I have talked to him and some days he is his old self but then some days he sounds completely out of it,but anyways I wanted to thank all of you who had him and my family in your prayers and thoughts! I feel like you are part of my family!

This is great news, Dawg! Your dad and your entire family will be remaining in my prayers.

I spoke with my brother (mike) who is just now leaving L.A and he told me he could miss his flight in Salt Lake City because of 30 min connection time,at any rate he should be here at least my 9 pm tonight. Brandi is at home until the baby comes and she is getting use to not working and trying to tie up all loose ends before the baby(jordan) arrives. She has never even met my brother so I am looking forward to them meeting. I also found out my in laws from Boston are indeed coming down south to visit us at Christmas,or when the baby comes which ever comes first. So I am looking forward to spending time with them this Christmas. Well I better get back to this test prep...have a great afternoon everyone!

The last day of November is here, yippee, ABCFamily 25 Days of Harry Potter, er, umm, sorry, Christmas starts tomorrow, hopefully they will have some new stuff on this year.

It was the longest night ever at work tonight, I get to go back in bright and early tomorrow. My head is still hurting, but not as much as this morning. I got some Christmas shopping done today, just a bit more to shop for my loving wifeypooh. She also took a personal day for Tuesday so we can go out Christmas shopping for our boys and go out for lunch and probably get some wrapping done also. We are 54 minutes away from December, the greatest month of the year.

Nothing new here to report. I was off tonight and did a lot around the house today. I am going to busy tomorrow too. We have to go grocery shopping. I hate doing that, but I guess it has to be done.

My daughter, who just turned 2 in September sang the ABC's tonight to me. Now granted she didn't do it perfect, but she got the whole way through. She's also been counting to 20 this past week to. When she did the the ABC thing tonight, I started balling like a baby. I was skeptical at first about daycare, but it has been a blessing from God for my kids.

Well, I guess I better head to bed. I've only had 2 1/2 hours of sleep since 10 pm last night, so I am dragging. I hope you all have a good night! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Good evening, Christmas family and happy first of December !!

UGH ! work was so tiring tonight. Thank goodness Thursday is my Friday. I DVR'd The Rockefeller Center special and I think my favorite performance on it was Michael Buble. I don't have anything against Justin Bieber - he just isn't my style. Actually, if more kids felt like he does, it could really make a difference !! I was reading his bio and he is one 17-year-old who actually professes his faith. Anyway, people of our age said the same sorts of things about The Beatles when they came out. I didn't realize how much older some of the singers are getting. Neil Diamond, Carole King, goodness !! Tony Benett, bless him. I really like that man. There is just something about his personality that seems nice.

Wish is lying here beside me peacefully sleeping. I have a fire burning and I have Music Choice on (Christmas music, of course !)

Thursday is my dear sister's birthday. She is going to be 68. I can't wait to give her the presents I got her. She mentioned once that she might like to have some watercolor paints to fool around with. I can remember her always painting and drawing - She taught me how to draw - so I got her a deluxe watercolor kit and an easel and paper !! I hope she is going to like them.

I have to tell you. Do you all remember the fiasco I went through trying to adopt that puppy ?? Well, that lady who has Lola called here this morning ! I didn't answer and let the machine get it. I don't want to go through that whole thing again and get hurt again when she decides she wants to keep her. I just don't think it is right or considerate to back peddle like that....

That's awesome to read about your daughter. My daughter turned 2 in late July and it seems as if the milestones are acheived at a rapid pace. It's certainly great to see them progressing along, but each milestone that passes is a step farther away from when they were babies. My son just turned 6 this past Saturday and it just amazes me how bright he is in complex thought, yet gone are the baby traits for the most part...rather, they are just figments to reminisce over in memory.
