Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is starting to cool down here in central Indy and it looks like we will have a high of 30 by Thursday. I better break out the long johns. My plan for today is to make a bunch of meatballs up. I'll use some of them to make meatball stew tonight and then I'll freeze the rest to use for my new years eve party. I also want to run to walmart to finish buying my nieces Christmas gifts. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Had a wonderful day shopping yesterday. Left home at 8am and arrived back home at 7:45pm. LOL
The Christmas Tree Shoppe was mad-packed with people. It was sheer craziness. Picked up some toys for grand-kid-os.
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I might just sign off and watch a Christmas DVD. I'm thinking IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.

Is this the Christmas Tree Shoppe just north of Syracuse? I've driven by it numerous times (on the way to and from tournaments), but never been able to stop because I wasn't driving and we're always in a hurry. Is it as an exciting and wonderful place as I may assume?!

Hi every one!
Sorry for not keeping you guys posted on my brother! It was not okay at all, but he is getting better.
Thanks for the update! I hope he continues to get stronger everyday!
Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's another rainy here in central Indy. I'm tired of the rain. I need a couple of Christmasstar's big fans so I can blow it all down to Dawg. I'm getting ready to head to church and then I'm going to go have lunch with a friend who is in town from Iowa. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
We have had so much rain in the past few days and needed it badly!!!
And with this post, CAH is poster #26,800. For her efforts, she wins several energy drinks PLUS extra coffee to give her more energy. WOW! Look at the count!
Awesome! I need that!!!
Sitting under the glow of my tree, we will not be going to NYC next Sunday, with the power outage last month we had to spend our trip money on food, soo NYC at Christmastime is put off until a year or 2 from now. We are doing our Christmas shopping on Tuesday, we cannot wait.
Aww... Sorry to hear. We went to NYC in October but would love to be there during the Christmas holidays! Have you ever been there before?
Our local Dairy Queen is closing for the season today, so I'm sure we'll run out there at some point for a farewell treat.
Dairy Queen closes for the winter there every year? I use to work for one when I was a teenager but we never closed for the season, open year round and still that way.
I might just sign off and watch a Christmas DVD. I'm thinking IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
In my opinion, THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE! I watched it last night! =)
Good evening, Christmas family !

Yesterday with my sister was FANTASTIC !! It was the perfect day. We went shopping and of course, some pretty madcap stuff happened with that then we went back to her house and she, my brother-in-law, Wes and myself all went to dinner at a wonderful Mexican place. The food was so good. Wes is 100% back to himself again - Thank God. It was so good to hear him laugh. He told some stories about his surgery and the outcome that, though they were actually serious, were so comical the way he told them. My sister and I were both in "stiches" ourselves just listening to him !

After dinner, back to my sister's house for decorating the tree !! We both had a wonderful time choosing the ornaments and seeing them after they had been put away for a year ! I can never remember what she has from one year to the next so it was double amazing !

After the decorating we settled down on the hide-a-bed where I would sleep and watched Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince togehter. We talked and talked and laughed. It was so wonderful beyond words. Plus she had never heard Susan Boyle so on my recommendation she bought Susan's Christmas album.....She was very impressed.

I hope all are well here. I am so tired tonight I tried to read all the posts but I didn't make it. I sincerely hope and pray all are well.

((HUGS)) everyone and ((HUGS)) also to all the furkids xo

Goodnight - Have Christmassy dreams all xo
Fantastic news on Wes!!!

I am so happy you and your sister had a great time. You deserve it!

Very cold here and no snow, just wet! Just northwest of us is getting snow!!!! Grrrrrrrrr! I told Wayne to take off work and lets drive there for some snow. Ha ha! I mean, it's only about 30-45 minutes away from here!!!!

Coach, the game! What was Jason Garrett thinking? Ugh! The news is buzzing big time about this mistake. Oh well! I will always be a die hard Cowboys fan no matter what. I just hope they do better next time!

those are both good ways to feel better!
I was watching Home Alone, Lost in New York, but the amazing race is starting now

Kim and I watched Home Alone 2 on Saturday night. Well, I watched half of it. I was exhausted and past out about half way through. Falling asleep during movies at home is a definite trademark of mine!

Yesterday evening was our Christmas party at church, and guess who stopped by: Santa! He handed out the gifts that we all brought for each other. What's funny is, I got the same men's gift that I brought. It was ok with me...I knew what was in the bag!

What are the odds of that?! I hope that you at least acted surprised!

If nothing gets in the way, I plan to do a lot of Christmas baking today. The weather is cloudy, cold and rainy and seems like a great day to crank up the Christmas music and bake away!

Have a Merry Day all!

Completely! Oh, and the lady next to me got a ham...in a bag!

CAH- Are you still watching the X-Factor? I haven't watched it since they kept moving it around for the world series.

Got a nice surprise yesterday. Was at my moms house in the country with other family at a Christmas lunch get together. We all decided to try and walk off the huge meal. On the way someone pointed out mistletoe in a couple of trees near the top. Then they noticed one batch hanging on the lowest branch just 7-8 feet off the ground. We all picked a large bunch to take home. Ours is tied up with a small red bow & hanging in the house.

My son and I like to go to the woods near grandaddy's pond and shoot it down with a .22 rifle.

Made, yes I am. I missed a few weeks when we were traveling but back to watching it. My 2 favorites Josh Krajcik and Rachel Crow are still in the competition. I just wish this show was on another time and not around December. I tend to flip the channel back and forth because of the holiday shows they air around the same time. I just cannot focus on it as much as I do American Idol.

Enjoy the cold weather & snow. It is much too warm here. Highs are supposed to be in the lower 50's here with rain coming. We do have a chance of light snow Wed night. I wish we would get a foot.

OOOOOOOPS! I said "now snow" I meant, "NO snow"! Sorry for the confusion. Mgramsy, you told me to enjoy the snow but we don't have any, it's all very close but northwest of us. =(

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We finally got our inside decorations up, and our tree is even nicer than last year's! We bought an 8' tree this time, and with the star on the top, it almost scrapes the ceiling. I worked the rest of the day trying to get the pool closed for the winter. Almost there!

My wife went to Atlanta with her sister yesterday morning, and she should be home early this evening. I'm ready for her to get home!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

sounds like a lovely tree! Ours is 7 1/2 feet tall, have had it for 5 years now and love the tree. Thinking of getting one that is prelit, but have not found one I like yet.

Our church had a Christmas party last Friday, it was a lot of fun! I won first place in the cake decorating contest.

To the count, sans delay:
Days to Christmas Day: 20
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Whadda you say?
We're now UNDER three weeks away!
so close and so much to do!
I have been doing some cleaning, all those spots that only get cleaned a couple of times a year or when one day you look inside and wonder how in the world it got so dirty!

it is 5c here this morning. We may get some snow mixed with the steady rain we have been getting the last few days.

I do that with meatballs too, cook them in the oven on a rack so all the grease drips off. Then freeze them on a cookie tray and when frozen drop them in a ziplock bag to store until needed.

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and full of Christmas spirit!

I apologize for not being around here much over the last week, suffice it to say, life has been hectic and got in the way of my Christmas activities :(

I have to admit that my Christmas spirit is constantly being tested, can't really figure out what is up with people this year, but people in my everyday life seem to be less than enthusiastic about the holidays this year, I get that it has been a rough year for a lot of people, it has been a rough year for me as well in a lot of ways but I am hopeful still that the Christmas spirit will prevail and soften the hearts of some of the people in my life.

On a happier note, I have launched a 2nd Christmas station, The Christmas Station Mega Mix, while the main The Christmas Station plays mostly just the most popular of the classics from yesterday and today, and that seems to be what people want the most and come to expect in that station, I am experimenting with a little different and larger variety in 2nd station The Christmas Station Mega Mix including sound bytes from classic holiday films, etc. It is a live broadcast and commercial free for everyone, however the listener capacity of it is not as large as the main Christmas Station, but still gives people a chance to listen to a station that is 100% commercial free. Right now it is live and on air but will be working to refine and experiment with the 2nd station more as time permits. :)

Anyway, going to catch up on this thread and everything going on here at MMC and do my best to keep up with it better!

God Bless and hope everyone has a great day! :tree:

Good Morning, Christmas Family!!

Hope you all had a nice weekend, filled with Christmas cheer~

I got most of my Christmas shopping done on Saturday, and even worked on some wrapping yesterday too. All while watching the nail-biter Packers-Giants game! Phew! That was a close one, such a fun game to watch!

Back to the work week...
Mondays are always tough, but thanks to you guys, I look at them a bit differently...only two more after today before Christmas! Woohoo!

Hope you are all doing well. I'm sending prayers, hugs and holiday high-fives your way  Have a great day!! xo

Hi every one!
Sorry for not keeping you guys posted on my brother! It was not okay at all, but he is getting better. I rushed to the other side of the country, to my parents house, after class the next day. My brother looked so tiny on the children's department of the hospital. I hope he will be able to go home soon. We will celebrate Saint Nicholas next week, i will celebrate it with my boyfriend tomorrow!

Thank you all for your concern and support!!

Thanks for the update on your brother. Glad to hear he is doing better. Will continue to keep him in my prayers.

Coach- It looks like Kurt Busch's big mouth has got him fired. All I can say is it's about time.

It is ABOUT time!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. You deserve it. I'm glad you guys had a lot of fun.

My plan for today is to make a bunch of meatballs up. I'll use some of them to make meatball stew tonight and then I'll freeze the rest to use for my new years eve party.

That sounds like a good idea - maybe I will make some meatballs for dinner and make a meatball hoagie. Thanks, Made!

Hahaha...is that better than Spam?

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and full of Christmas spirit!
