Christmas Countdown - 2011

I haven't been to Lakemont since the early 90's. It's sad to hear that it's turned into a dump. I've never been to Delgrosso's. When we use to come back every year we would always go over to Hershey Park for a day and then we also go to lakemont for a day after it opened.

Yea, I would call it one anyway. I know a lot of people who don't go there anymore. Hershey is really nice and I love going there, but just has got so expensive. Idlewild (Ligonier, Pa) is really nice, especially for kids.

When you come back, you need to go to Delgrosso's. There is a ballpark beside Lakemont. The Altoona Curve - that is really nice.

We had a pretty bad two weeks, my brother is still in the hospital, no reason to be joyous at all here... but now he's getting better, we hope he is will home around this weekend so BEFORE christmas! which is very very important of course, so i will keep my fingers crossed!
I still can't believe how ill he got... thank you all for the support, it is awful to see a family member like that... i'm sorry about the season, but i'm glad it seems like he'll be home for christmas!

We had a pretty bad two weeks, my brother is still in the hospital, no reason to be joyous at all here... but now he's getting better, we hope he is will home around this weekend so BEFORE christmas! which is very very important of course, so i will keep my fingers crossed!
I still can't believe how ill he got... thank you all for the support, it is awful to see a family member like that... i'm sorry about the season, but i'm glad it seems like he'll be home for christmas!

I've been trying to convince everyone that we need to come back next year. They all agree but when it comes time to take their vacations they always go out to Seattle to see my sister. So I guess I need to get my sister from Seattle to come home for a week and then we can all go back there.

When my sister was looking at places to take my niece for a second opinion alot of people told her to go to Hershey. Their children's hospital is the top ranked one in the US for juvenile arthritis. So I had everyone convinced to come back then to visit but my sister didn't want to spend $3,000 in plane tickets when she could just drive 4 hours to Portland.

I understand her not wanting to pay the amount for the plane tickets - that is very expensive...Hershey does have an AMAZING Pediatric Hospital. I think she would make the right choice by going there.

After that I may hang out online but after the dishes are put up I will probably be tired from doing nothing all day so I may turn in early and ewatch the tube in bed....anything good come on tv tonight? have a good evening everyone!

The Lemon Drop Kid will be on Turner Classic Movies this evening at 7:00 pm central time. One of my favorite Christmas movies! The song Silver Bells made it's debut in it. It's my favorite scene in the movie when Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell sing it together.

It looks like this movie is airing at the same time as White Christmas.

I got them both on dvd so I can watch them whenever but wanted to let you all know about it. =)
