Just talked to my mom and father in Oregon. My dad sounds better as in his frame of mind. He was more upbeat than earlier in the week. He gets so easily tired out in the Physical therapy,but he said he is moved up a number on thier scale. when he gets to a 5 he will get discharged. He is in a 2 in most things now. His dr's are amazed at how well he is doing since this happened just 38 days ago!( he was comotose the first week) he also broke his leg in the car wreck so he is getting the last of his casts off Monday. My mom had a few broken ribs and she still has a wrap she wears but I don't think it is all the time now... both mom and dad sounded very good just now over the phone..continued thanks for everyones prayers as they sure are working!!!.My siblings and some aunts/uncles are going to be able to visit with them all through the holidays and I of course will call them to wish them Merry Christmas while we wait on the little one to show up any day now....yes this is kind of the unoffcial way the Dr's is putting it now,she said everything is in place for him to make his debut!!!! 2 and a half weeks away! Okay need to start warming over the leftovers for dinner....tomorrow night I will grill steaks!

That's great to hear!!!! I'll continue to keep them in my prayers.

Happy Weds. everybody! Wow 32 days into the holiday season so far! today has felt like a nice spring day here in south central,Ga tomorrow calls for more of the same maybe a degree or two warmer,but still bright sunny skies. So we are moving into the 10 days Christmas window and also the bowl games are starting up on the 17th!!!! aahhh can't wait! have a good late afternoon/ early evening everyone!

Maybe. I'm not a big fan of apple pie so I don't usually make it.

I have 4 graham cracker pie crusts so I need to find something to do with them. I think it's time to break out the old kraft cookbooks.

Three words: Key Lime Pie

My sister and mom love anything lemon so SEND away!!!!!

No Bake Lemon Cheese cake

1 8oz pkg of cream cheese
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup whip cream, whipped

beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until fluffy, fold in whip cream
pour into the graham crust [level it]

make one pkg lemon pie filling according to directions, cool to just warm [stir once in a while to keep it from setting]
pore over cream cheese mixture

put in fridge overnight

Whip up another 1/2 cup of whipping cream, add 2 tbsp of icing sugar (stabilizes it so it stays whipped) and smooth over everything

enjoy!

You can get the special Keurig cup that you can put any brand in. I ground up some special hazelnut that we already had and used that. Perfect!!!

They do have everything. I keep telling my DH I wish they would starting getting K cups. I love their coffee. I would sooo by it for my Keurig if they would make it...

We are home from our quick trip to Chico. Just finished the facelift surgery. The laser stuff is killer. Almost cried. But it is feeling better. I must order some Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine to help ease the pain. Not even Carl's special blend could ease the pain!!!
