Well my neighbors brakes didn't take as long as I thought they would. So now I have a few hours to kill before I can go pick up my niece. I think I am going to crank up the christmas music and start my christmas notebook for this year.
I just packed away all my Christmas dishes and coffee cups and got out the "normal" ones. Normal is just no fun but it won't be long when I get the Christmas dishes out in again, November 1, 2011!
While packing away all the Christmas coffee cups, I ran across one of the cups that I forgot to have out for the season. It says, "I love Santa" on it. How did I overlook that one!?
The tree is still up and lit as we speak but I may take down a few more decorations around the house. Just a little at a time and as I feel like doing it! cheesy

Take your time. I find if you do that you wont miss Christmas that much or get the Christmas blues
I have WINTER coffee mugs that I use starting Nov 1 through to the 1st day of Spring. They are all clear with a design etched into them - 6 are snowmen and snowflakes and the other 6 are a horse drawn cariage and a snowy back ground. My Christmas coffee mugs that match my Christmas dishes get used Christmas Eve/Day. Once I pack up my Christmas from inside the house my snowmen stuff come out until March, that's when I switch over to Easter stuff. I used to display the snowmen stuff with my Christmas stuff but one I was running out of room for everything and 2 after Christmas everything seemed to bleak with everything packed up. Now I can enjoy the winter season much more and longer.
Hey can any tell me if "SparkleNana" has been around? I remeber her being quite active on here a while back ?

I am planning to get my boyfriend a new one (since he broke his on Christmas eve) and just gift wrap it and put away with the Christmas stuff, so it'll be a surprise when he opens the box of decorations...I am leaving it out a little longer as well
I can't miss it yet! I do feel real great when I think that maybe next year I will be able to decorate our new house instead of here... whenever I think that, I don't feel so sorry putting every thing away...

You sound a lot like my boyfriend, he wouldn't celebrate on his new job untill he started working there, and then he said: well, I can't celebrate now, I have early morning shifts
I hope they announce it one time soon, they probably have lots of paperwork to deal with, that often takes long...

Hi all, I only joined a few days ago, and was ust wondering what a rudolph day is and what it involves?
Rudolph day which is on the sister site is about taking the 25th day of each month (or what ever day works for you) and dedicating to do something Christmassy like working on a craft that will be used as a gift/decoration for Christmas, updating your Christmas notebook, wrapping gifts already bought, working on Christmas cards, etc.
well two days down 3 to go for this first work week after the holidays..hope everyone is having a good tuesday afternoon!

Hey Everyone! I will be out of here (work) in a few minutes. I am back to being off on my Wednesdays so it will be nice to have off tomorrow. Not sure what I will do yet but I will be happy to be home with my Boys. Its cold here but Sunny which is always nice cheesy. I have so many posts to catch up on and am looking forward to spending more time on this site again. I was happy to hear that "sounds of the season" still has Christmas music on as of this morning.
