Are those pictures of an american terry's choclate orange above?? We have them in the UK as well, but are avaliable all year round, however they seem to be most popular at christmas!

I confess that I grabbed the image off the Internet, so I don't know what part of the world that particular orange came from! It may not be from the U.S., because the "whack and unwrap" sticker looks different from the ones I have. You can also find them at different times of the year in the U.S., but they're available in more places around Christmas. (I prefer to eat 'em in season! One of the things I look forward to.)

UGh! its only tuesday? hard to believe this time last week i was eating pumpkin pie and left over turkey! I tend to always look back and think about what I was doing in the past...have a great day everyone!

mee too gabulldawg, im trying to break that habit. I live there too much sometimes I think!:tree:
It is a very hard habit to break. I often find myself living in the past and worrying about the future. As I do things I don't enjoy, I wish I was doing something else that would be fun then it gets me down.

I realize we all must live for the moment and be blessed for what we have right this very minute. Try to enjoy our mundane daily task. Just for example I hate washing the dishes but as I am doing them I think positive and try to find the joy of getting even the smallest task done and take pride in that. I try not to be negative as I am doing things that are no fun.

So here it is Tuesday can either be "ugh" or "what a great day"! I am not preaching at all because I am the EXACT same way. I remind myself daily to just be blessed in all things good or bad. It really helps when I give myself those reminders. I hope it helps and we all have a great Tuesday! cheesy

I teach my third graders the Pledge of Allegiance in ASL (American Sign Language) and tell them what the signs mean. They love it and seem to understand it better!

That's Awesome! When I was a kid I used to teach my classmates how to sign the Pledge Of Allegiance. I am teaching my kids.

Hey everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't been around. My Hubby and daughter were sick last week with a sinus infection, and my son now has the flu. I'm keeping my fingers crossed no one else gets sick. I had a bad cold the week before Christmas, so I think we should be through with the illnesses for a while. We have had our share.

I hope you all are well and are having a wonderful 2011 so far. I believe this is going to be a great year!

TTYL!

I hope everyone gets well soon!

Welcome to Tuesday everyone! Its snowing here in jolly old London Ontario Canada! I snapped a picture of it with my ipod so Ill post that later (since Im at work right now!). Wow what a lot of posts and it was only yesterday that I checked for them! hmmmm I'm hungry too. What to eat, what to eat. Oh well. Have a merry merry tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone!!!! It is going to be a busy day here. I am going to replace the brakes on my neighbors van and then I have to go pick up my niece so she can stay the night at my apartment. Her sister has a doctors appoinment at 8am tomorrow and I didn't want to get up at 6am to to get to my sisters house in time to babysit her there. It helps out that she is in the afternoon kindergarten class. Well I am off to get dirty. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great day!

Great post and your exactly right! I need to challenge myself to be more positive and its a daily struggle I must confess!

Good morning everyone... well hubby came across a new fish receipe last night so we are going to try it later this week and if we like it will be added to the Christmas Eve menu. We still had so many cookies left over and I packed up a bunch for hubby to take to into work yesterday. I did not want to throw them out and with hubby and I trying to loose weight and eat healthier there was no way we were going be able to eat them all. All his workers were happy with them as it was an unexpected treat for them, especially on a Monday morning. We still have some left at the house for the kids to enjoy but the now temptation to stray is no longer there. A win-win for all!

Well gotta go... Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I miss Christmas, but it's sorta good to get back into my routine, too. And it'll be back in less than 11 months!

Now I'm catching up on work from since before Christmas. I'll be doing this for a while. I didn't expect much too happen between Christmas and New Years, but I've got about 50 emails to respond to. LOL!

I better get to it. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

I watched the ball game and was really impressed with Luck. He seems so down to earth. The other third grade teachers and I are meeting together this morning to map out interventions for our kiddos. It is really nice to collaborate.

I am always watching a ballgame. I am a sports fanatic!
I was supposed to go back to work today, but my son has the flu so I am staying home with him. We have 3 professional development days and then the kids come back Thursday. Luckily, I have a wonderful principal that said not to worry about the professional development. She would summarize everything I need to know and tell me all about it when I get there. I teach Pre-K ,so she said most of it really doesn't involve me or my students. There is one session Wednesday I really want to attend, so, hopefully, my son will be well enough for me to leave him with my Mom for a couple of hours so I can go Wednesday.

Sorry this was so long. I tend to ramble sometimes. LOL

Yes it is a daily struggle! I have days where I am blah all day and/or dreading the day. I have to fight real hard to get straightened out. We are all human and it's normal to feel that way. cheesy

Of course if something tragic happens in our life, that is a completely different story and handled differently.

You can always get a regular one and personalize it for yourself. My first one was a white on into which I could put my own cover sheet. The other two are specific for Christmas. You can google it and find lots! Here's to your success!

I like the notebook idea, but I am not sure I will be able to find a Christmas themed notebook. Might as well search for it :)

I say go for it! Moms are good that way!

... So I am trying to get calm and do some nice things. My mum is going shopping in Amsterdam today, maybe I should tag along and have some coffee with her. My mum is the best person to have around when you want to calm down! :)

Hope all of you have an amazing day :) !

Good morning,

Just going through the posts while eating breakfast, I just shake my head at how fast they are going up. I feel so sleepy today, got to get back into my routine after being back to work last night. Maybe getting snow on Friday & Saturday.

Have a great Tuesday!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It's a cold 35 here in northern California. No snow is predicted for us, so any available snow will be welcome by me. Just send it on! Lots of planning to do with other teachers today, so I am going in a little early. I hope y'all have a tremendous Tuesday!
