Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good morning,

New Year's eve was just a small little thing here, just had my brother-in-law over had pizza and my wife, him, and I watched a couple movies (Easy A, and Vampires Suck, the second word of the second movie describes it perfect, Easy A was good) Last Christmas party today, but still watching Christmas movies. Tonight is the thing I look forward to most on New Year's The Winter Classic NHL outdoor game, it is usually the only thing I like to watch on New Year's.

I have decided that my resolution for this year is to just stay on this side of the grass. Has anyone else made a resolution?

Just resting so far. We got to bed at 1 a.m. We might have some neighbors over later for pizza and movies, if they're available. We wanted to have them over before Christmas, but things kept coming up to prevent it. Till then, I've been straightening up a bit and will look at some new DVDs.

We have a gorgeous sunny day here, and the temperature is supposed to go into the low 50s! (Fahrenheit)

:rudolph: I don't make Resolutions because to me that means I have regrets about things I accomplished or didn't last year. I set personal and work related goals and re-check them monthly and since I'm happy with the way I got things done, I don't have any regrets.

:treeguy: The last Resolution I made was two years ago because I suffered from Insomnia so I decided not to set the alarm clock anymore and rely on my body to wake me up and it's the only Resolution I ever kept. HaHa.
 
:cry: Psst, I can see grass and the creek is flowing again. Things will change in a few days when we expect snow, but right now the rain is melting what we got over the month of December.
 
Got any plans for 2011? We're planning on taking a trip back where I grew up, and a trip to visit a dear friend of ours in her 80s, and I have various video, audio, and crochet projects in mind. There will be plenty to keep me occupied on the way to the next Christmas season, and that'll help it come quickly. I guess the best antidote for missing Christmas Present when it becomes Christmas Past is to get started on Christmas Yet to Come!
 
The house is now 3/4 undecorated....looking very bare.

Going to a friends for some goodies and games this afternoon.

Watching the tournament of Roses parade. Amazing floats this year. What a lot of work goes into those.

I plan to pass my road test and start driving a big truck by months end.
 
Happy New Year!! Well, my Christmas friends, I have some news! It snowed during the night here in northern California!!!!!! I kid you not! My husband went out and took pictures of his truck and my van with the snow on it because it was melting quickly! I hope it snows again because we only got flurries, but beggars can't be choosers!

We watched the Rose Parade on TV. We went to see it in Pasadena two years ago, and it is fantastic. We hope to go again next year! We will decide at the end of January!

Good afternoon everyone! I hope your New Years Eve went well and you had lots of fun :D I'm about to go shower then I'm heading out with some friends.. I really need to clean my room though haha
