Took these photos last night on my way home from my father's house - just to show a couple of the homes that are not only still decorated but still lit as well!
(Sorry my old Kodak does not do too well at night.)

Thanks Crown! My neighbor's beautifully decorated home went dim last night but our town lights (and tree!!!) are still lit!

Evening all!!! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Lights and decorations are still up in my neighborhood. William is watching I want a dog for Christmas charlie brown. Love that show! Well time to go. I hope to be on later tonight when everyone is sleeping here in the house!

Hi everyone. :-?

I am afraid things are not looking very good for my Goblin. I talked to the doctor today and he said Gobby (as I call him) is STILL not eating very well on his own. They are having to syringe feed him. His blood work was fine so at this point they are a bit baffled. The next thing will ben an exploratory surgery to look inside. Doc thought he felt a mass, a small one, in the abdomen, so they need to look and see what is going on. I am not giving up but I really don't think he is going to make it.

I always post the most horrible stuff on here. I either always depressed, anxious or bearing bad news. Everyone is trying to be cheerful and looking forward to things but then along I come.

I am sorry if I am a whiny little "victim" here. I think of you all as my family and I hope you understand.

Two kitties within 2 months. But I am getting ahead of myself. Gobling is still here. Perhaps things will turn around yet.

Thank you for listening. Each and every one of you already have your wings as far as I am concerned xo
I am so sorry and when you lose a loved one you have every right to feel down. We are here for you. I hope Gobby gets well. I said a prayer for you all today.
Who still has their decorations up??? I refuse to take mine down!! And my LIVE tree is still going strong.. well, not really. I had a dream my house caught on fire because the darn thing is so dry. I just can't bear to take it down!!! It's snowing today and it looks so pretty.. plus more snow on Tuesday... maybe it'll come down in March?
I still have all my indoor decor up!
Anyone following this story???? How awful and frightening. Praying for Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims...

Absolute sickos out there!
I am going to add another goal for the New Year: try to hit at least 6,000 posts for myself this year. I think I can do it, and that will help me with trying to contribute to this forum.

You should reach that in no time. I am sure you will go past 6000 by the end of the year!

Almost time to cook dinner--ham, mac and cheese. Then I have to finish one load of laundry and study for a judging test. I probably will not be on later tonight. Talk to y'all sometime tomorrow, maybe later tomorrow evening. We have a crab feed to go to in the p.m. I don't like crab so if someone wants mine, come along!!! I always take fake crab with me!!!

I know you can do it, I don't really have any goals, but I do want to post more in the Christmas Countdown this year. So far so good!

I love anything Charlie Brown. In Sunday School last Sunday we were talking about Christmas and the subject of Charlie Brown was brought up. Our Sunday school teacher said that he was sick of Charlie Brown. A couple of people hollered out, "that's blasphemy" and more people grumbled! Ha ha! Our Sunday School teacher is a lot of fun and fun to pick on. We got a good laugh.

Undrtakr, it's good little William enjoys watching Charlie Brown! You are raising him right. cheesy

My boys also love Charlie Brown, I have had a Peanuts ornament for years and when my oldest boy was 2 he saw it and started saying "Bwowns, look Bwowns!" while pointing at it. I will always remember that

Good evening,

I think I have taken my Saturday as far as I could, still feeling like garbage, especially with the way my Bruins blew the game with less than 3 minutes to go.
It was a tough day sitting on the couch all day, but I did make goulash for dinner for my family, my own recipe. I just want to feel better at this point.

Have a good night and may twinkle lights and Christmas sights fill your dreams tonight.

Well today has been a bad day. I took my christmas tree down and my colts just got beat.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!

I bought the Valentine's Day colored M&M's, they just don't taste as good as the Christmas colored ones

That's because Christmas has a flavor. Try baking Christmas cookies without playing Christmas music---they don't taste the same.
