They haven't given the all clear yet, but almost. We have one more batch coming in about 20 minutes....

Last one was pretty close....they called our town our two times in the past hour and said get in a closet....my wife said, "That weather dude is playing games with my emotions." I laughed, but she means it!

Kandice is ready for Pre-School, teeth brushed, hair brushed, clean and dressed.....she is overly exited.......they have their Easter celebration today and when they are inside....the Easter Bunny will hide their little Easter baskets.........this afternoon I will color our eggs with Kandice.....hard to believe....she is 5 years and we never did it......so she is very exited for that one too

Good Tuesday (NOT MONDAY YAY) afternoon all!

Yesterday there was a bit of a surprise. I got myself a coffee, went out to see if the workers were working on the house, they were not. So I went back into the basement. Came up about 20 minutes later. Opened the front door and *BAM* SNOW. Covering everything!
Can you send some snow to Belgium please? Over here, we have real summer weather! Temperatures up to 25°C (That's about 77°F if i'm not mistaken). Don't really like it.:-?

I hope everyone is safe from the storms.

Congratulations Seawaters!

Track, sounds like a fun day for your little one!

I have been up since 3:30 am. My mom and I are suppose to go to the gym today so I hope I still have some energy by then. I only got 5 hours of sleep. I might have to cancel and take a nap. cheesy

a nap is always a good option....gym is good tho too....

Kandice has a great day at pre-school. they did a celebration with hot cocoa and cookies ....sounds a lil like christmas...and then they went to search their easter baskets. she loved it....now she asked me about ten times since yesterday if tomorrow is Easter Day

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hope you all endured the bad weather with no serious problems! We've been pretty lucky here, no very bad weather to speak of. It's just been pretty warm. It was 92° yesterday...and it's still only April!

Some of our HR people from the corporate office are here today for training classes. *yawn* At least we get a free lunch out of the deal. I don't really have time to leave my desk for the day, though. I have some catching up to do since I was out Monday.

I guess I better get on it. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

I love the sound of hail on the roof.
Especially when you're insured and the roof is old, right?

And with that mercenary little thought, Good Morning, Everyone!

Wow! The severe weather continued yesterday. I hope everyone stayed safe and took no chances.

Speaking of not taking chances, I had best post the count now before I'm interrupted:
Days to the Season: 207
Days to Christmas Day: 249
One week from today = the the 200-Day Season window.
And LESS than a week now until the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
(Whew! We're moving too fast!)

Nice, calm and sunny here again this morning where we are already up to 72 on the way to a predicted high of 86.
(A bit warm for mid April in these parts.)

Allright, Friends. We are off to the coast on the first trip to prepare our place for the rental season which begins in June.
It's always a bit exciting not knowing exactly what we will find that needs to be done as we haven't been over there for better than 5 months.

OK! 'Pines Day! (Right, Holiday?)
Carl and crew are ready and waiting at the door with more red-frosted fired twinkies (they were REALLY overstocked) and sweet southern iced tea.
And oh, yeah. Carl DID mutter something about a coffee-clover blend but he couldn't be serious, could he?
(Or COULD he? Only Binger knows for sure -- they sometimes conspire, you know.)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!
See you back here bright and early Sunday morning.
(Well, bright, maybe.)

Well it sounds like the worst of the storm has past us now. We are just in for heavy rain for the next couple of hours. I have been listening to the police scanner and they are reporting alot of flooding already so another couple hours of rain should make for an interesting morning commute. Well I am off to bed and hopefully I will get more than the 3 hours of sleep I got last night. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have spoken a little to early there. The tornado sirens just went off again. :-?

Wow! What is going on with all this extreme weather this year? I hope this all calms down soon for everybody, it must be quite scary.

Give me cold any day, I work between a cooler that is 35F and a freezer that is -10F so when I go out to anything above 60F I feel like it is really warm.

Glad she had a good time.

WooHoo!!! I passed 12,000 posts!!!

Congratulations!!

My prayers are going out to CAH and her kitty, and all of you who are suffering through the violent weather.

Save some happy thoughts for me---Mr. is still sick, it's crazy-busy at work, I've been unable to renew the subscription for my netbook's virus protection (short version: Staples doesn't always make it easy), and I'm feeling gloomy and can't shake it off. I know other folks here have troubles that are much worse ... I feel bad mentioning my little troubles, but tonight I can't resist unburdening to a friendly ear or two.

You and Mr. are in my prayers! Sometimes all you need to get through the next minute is to unburden yourself a little bit and we are great listeners cheesy

I will be praying for you and the Mr. Nothing worse than feeling gloomy and it won't go away!

Every time I say a prayer I always keep my Christmas friends in prayer!

Aw, that is so sweet of you!

We were right between the bad storm and didn't get much. We got light showers but directly north and south of us got hit with strong storms. We got lucky! I hope everyone around us was safe.

Glad the storms bypassed you!

Okay me and mom are in the bathroom. Now they are saying the damage might have been from straight line winds instead of a tornado. It must have been one strong wind gust to roll a barn into the middle of the road.

It sure must have!

Good morning,

Today is my late day, so work beckons in an hour and a half. Last 4 shopping days for everyone to get their hams and turkeys for the Bunny's big day, and it is school vacation week, so I am counting on a very busy next few days.
I hope everyone has a great Wednesday, see you at the Pines!
:tree:

Good morning!

There were several storms last night, nothing bad and nothing extremely loud, but Bo was frantic. Poor guy just wouldn't calm down. Mouse stayed by my side all night so she was fine. I think I got maybe an hour of sleep. Going to be a very long day today.

Went outside this morning and although there are no puddles of water in the driveway, there was a lot of rain. I have to keep tabs on the basement as it could flood down there.

I also discovered that Willa moved the babies. Haven't a clue where they are, but they must be close as she showed up pretty quick when I went outside. When I was looking for them, I found a stray grey cat - at least it is one I have never seen. Poor thing was scared, so I just talked to him and then left. If he is hungry and wants to stick around, he'll find where I put food out for the furry mob that calls this place home - at least if he gets there before the blue jays and chickadees steal the uneaten crunchies - they seem to prefer crunchies to sunflower seeds, but if the feeder isn't full, they get real upset.

Have a great day, Friends!!!!!!!!

oh i forgot, CAH i have been praying for you! I know exactly how it feels... I hope you are well!! I can't warn people enough about the sun, I always wear dresses over swimwear, health goes way over looks! and now i started to prefer just looking kind of pale, i think it's nice to have people of all sorts of colors, and since my bf is very colored, it's meant to be that i am just really pale :D

Prayers and good thoughts are being sent you to every day!!
