Will do! We did a Patty's Day 5k - I had my hubby pushing me in that one & I finished in 34:16 minutes. Hubby won't be there to push me tomorrow but I would really like to beat that time. The friend I'm doing it with is strictly a walker, so we'll see how it goes. I'm planning to "wog" it! :D
I was going to run a 5k for St. Paddy's Day but had to cancel due to illness. That is fantastic time you ran! It took me about 23 minutes to run the 3k last week. I think if I tried a 5k, even if it's just a little over a mile more, I wouldn't be able to do it in 34 minutes. I think I would end up walking a lot of it. Maybe by the time this 5k comes up I will be ready.

Wow they are talking about people stuck in planes at the St Louis airport and there is so much debris that the rescue workers can't get to them. It sounds like alot of damage in Missouri and Illinois. No serious injuries have been reported though thankfully.
I am glad no one was seriously hurt!

This morning I have switched from powdered coffee creamer to Half and half in my coffee - figured it would be healthier in the long run. I even measured out the amount for one serving. All I can say is it's going to take some getting used to!
I follow a very healthy lifestyle of eating and this site is a great help to look up anything and see what it scores. You just type any food, any brand in the search bar and it will give you info on it.

I am always studying food and their benefits. Kind of an obsession of mine. cheesy

Good morning!

Dreary out this morning and I have to get out and about in it soon. Still groggy from last night's sleep. This morning I have switched from powdered coffee creamer to Half and half in my coffee - figured it would be healthier in the long run. I even measured out the amount for one serving. All I can say is it's going to take some getting used to!

Have been doing BalleCore for over a month now and the benefits are showing up :D I was able to hop in the truck (while holding a 20 pound + box of groceries, I might add) without using the hand rest for added help. Yay!

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!

That's one thing I am really fighting is the creamer....I want to lose some weight and I am exercising, but the creamer is probably going to have to go. I just love that sooo much. I can give up everything else. NO PROBLEM! But creamer is just too much right now.

Same here...I am trying to mix the regular creamer with fat free creamer and slightly cut back the amount each week.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast here in northern California. It drizzled rain for just a few moments last night, so we will probably get a few more drops today. I am going to do some laundry today and hope to make a major dent in my scrapbook papers, getting them transferred to their new home in the garage. I also plan to take a nap because I kept waking up every hour on the hour during the night. Don't know what the problem was. Hubby and I changed our plans for dinner last night and went for vegetarian pizza at Round Table. We have a great RT. The manager is the best and he hires excellent help. Many of them started out in high school and are still there, some even in their 30s. That says a lot about him. They are so friendly and the service is outstanding. We are always getting really good coupons for RT. On Open House night, the manager comes to our school and sells pizza for $1 a slice. All proceeds are then donated to the school!

About a week ago, I bought two Pepsi crates and a 7-Up crate for bottled soda from the 70s. The 7-Up crates says, "Fresh up with 7-Up." I am going to use it to store some of my scrapbooking supplies and tools. The crates look great! (What a poet I am!) When I finish with my scrapbooking supplies transfer, I will have to take a picture of my scrapbooking area so you can see how cute the crates look!

I hope everyone has a great day. We are lucky on this site to have people who can step into the gap when others are on vacation or have a tea hangover! Thanks, Minta for keeping us in line!

Good evening,

It was very, very busy at work today, more of the same tomorrow I am sure. At least I get Sunday off after working the Massachusetts limit of working no more than 6 days in a row. We are fixing our financial situation with that student loan issue, and so far I think we have done a good job trimming the fat so to say.

Have a great night!
:sparkle:

I am sorry I just had to respond to this! WHen I was in high school I worked in retail at a clothing store, anyways Ga especially back in the 90's did not have very effective labor laws. but I always without fail remembered reading our handbook and Mass and R.I without fail always were excempt from alot of Gap.inc rules. I seem to remember some stores had to close early each night...anyhow we always use to joke we wished we lived in Mass or Rhode Island!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! It is a cloudy but warm day here in central Indy. We are going to have some rain off and on but nothing like yesterday. My sister just picked up my niece's and mom went shopping so I have a few minutes of peace and quiet. My plan is to crank up the Christmas music and finish my macaroni salad for tomorrow and then start my baked corn. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not having too bad a day here. Sunny earlier, a bit of a wind beginning to whip up also. We had to the quintessential English past-time of diving outside to get the washing in from off the line once it starts to rain. I can only surmise though it means it's going to be a cooler, less sticky night.

I did a scrapbook for my daughter's college graduation that turned out nice. A lot of hard work went into it and it was a lot of fun.

I can't wait to see the photos you take!

Thanks for that! You and I have been chatting about hating the summer and I am determined this year not to feel blue about the summer coming up. Well now you just made me look at summer in a very different way that I might enjoy it afterall. You said it so well, "I am so ready for summer to start so I can look farward to Fall and the holidays". cheesy

Sounds like a great plan!

Don't anyone tell Crown, but I am going to take a nap since I missed so much sleep last night! I will be on later today. Please do not make too much noise either! No yelling and no jumping on the beds!
