It poured down raining all night long and still raining. It is also VERY CHILLY outside. We didn't have to run the air conditioner!

The grandkids will not be coming over today so I plan to get a few things done around here and relax. My back is feeling a bit achy. Blah!

I am not going to let my back get me down. It will be a great day regardless!

Have a Marvelous Monday everyone! cheesy

.
Happy Monday! The first news I heard on the radio this morning was such good news ... Bin Laden is dead. On the way to work I was behind a pest control truck that bore the big slogan "WE GET 'EM!" I thought: We certainly do! We've waited a long time for that report---but we still need to be alert for revenge attacks.

Pocket enjoying that my daughter took her kitten with her when she moved.

No one relaxes quite as thoroughly as a cat! I swear she's smiling.

We order Vidalia onions from Blands farm by mail. You are so right about them. When we went across country this past summer, we bought 10 pounds to hold us over!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went to Nancy's parents' house for diner last night. We had boiled peanuts and fried chicken sandwiches with tomatoes and sweet onions. Yum, yum! If you haven't tried Vidalia Sweet Onions, you don't know what you're missing. They are so sweet, they don't make your hands smell when you slice them, and your eyes don't water. My brother-in-law grew these and they rock!

I have some work to do this afternoon after work, then a city council meeting. Busy, busy. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead!

Good morning, Christmas family. It is a bright, bright, bright sunshiney day here in northern California. Supposed to get up to the mid-80s today and by my birthday up to the mid-90s. I hate the heat and totally look forward to fall and winter. Welcome, Christmas, is what I say. In fact, if you have children and/or grandchildren, you might want to get the book Welcome, Christmas by Patricia Palocco. It is wonderful!!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning!

I wanted to check in quick since I am working and I just spent fifteen minutes catching up on the posts I missed - back to work now.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!

The feed store I work at sell starters, Georgia Sweet Vidalia Onions to plant and grow. They are the most requested plant that everyone wants to grow.

Vidalia is just 30 miles from here, so I eat a lot of onions...LOL! As a matter of fact, the Vidalia Onion Festival was this weekend, but I missed it 'cause I had to work at the store. My brother-in-law went and said the airshow was great. I would have loved to see Tracy lawrence in concert.

Maybe next year. cheesy

Oh, Seawaters, Bland farms is just a few miles from where I am right now. Our receptionist is in the Bland family, too.

You know, it seems that all of us on here get sick at the same time and NOW 3 of us are suffering back pain. First gabulldawg, then me and now you! Mine is not that bad but it's bothering me!

I hope you get to feeling better!

I just got in the mail, Scentsy Autumn Sunset scent bar that you melt in a candle warmer. It smells soooooooo good. I think I am going to get the candle warmer going and fragrance up the house with Fall fragrance. It's rainy and cold out and seems like a good time to watch something Christmasy! cheesy

Make that four of us. I hurt my lower back several years ago, and every now and then I'll move wrong or lift wrong and BAM! it's back. And it's back now. Ouch!:-?

Wow! You know we are a close family on here when we all suffer "sympathy" pains! Gabulldawg started it all!!! cheesy

I know awhile back everyone of us was down with a bad cold at the same time.

I have been plagued with back problems for over 20 years. All it takes is a wrong move and I am in bad shape.

I hope you get better soon!

In the mountains we have ramps. They are a wild onion and are just the opposite of a Vidalia onion. We had our ramp festival this weekend but I can't eat them. Much too strong. I can remember, as a kid, my dad eating some ramps before going to work and being sent home because the ramps made him smell so bad...

You folks with the back pains---I hope you're feeling better soon. Mr. is having back trouble of his own today, so I know that can really slow you down.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is another rainy day here in central Indy. I actually had to turn the heat on this morning to get the chill out of my apartment. That's a drastic change from last year when I probably would have got up and turned the A/C on. I stayed up until almost 4am watching all of the news coverage before I finally decided I should get some sleep. My sister called and woke me up at 8am so I am dragging a bit today. My plan for today is get some laundry done and and maybe take a quick nap. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
