All the Christmas in July chatter yesterday made me reeeally want some Thanksgiving/Christmasy food! Hubby wanted BBQ chicken, so that's in the crockpot and i made a mire poix for my stuffing (mmm!!!) Mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole will be part of the feast, too!

WHO IS JEALOUS??? :-)

I AM! I AM! You are totally making me hungry! cheesy

I was having a conversation with my daughter on how I have been a member on other forums and quit because of controversy and bickering among members. I never got involved in the bickering but witnessed more than I wanted to.

I told her that this is the first forums that I have been on that is very active and very friendly.

She said, "it's because everyone is so jolly"!
She is right!

Soooo cute and sooooo true!!! :rudolph:

rain here too, although once or twice it got really bright and warm, I think that was a thing called "sunshine" !

Do you mean to tell me that I missed the sun! I work in Toronto and believe me...the sun did not poke out at all there! Well...I'm glad you were around to witness it! cheesy

Time to kick back and Enjoy some american idol. They will be singing 3 songs each tonight.

Good afternoon, Christmas family !! So far, so good with my Wishbone. He seems just fine now......You would never know he had experienced such a weird episode......I am keeping him on the Phenobarbital for now.......I wonder if it could have been a drug reaction to Clavamox (an antibiotic) ??? I hope so.....

Anyway, not a lot going on here.....I am very excited (except for the stupid headache I have) because my sister is coming down on Saturday and we are going to have a Sister day !!! Then In July there is the last installment of Harry Potter and the Hallmark Ornaments !!!(that is if the rapture doesnt happen like it is supposed to this Saturday..according to that one church !!)

Have a wonderful day Christmas Family !!!! xoxo

Sooooo happy to hear that Wishbone is doing just fine! You are a good Mommy!

I know how much you love getting together with your sister! I'm sure you will have a wonderful day with her!

Yes...Harry Potter! I wasn't sure when it was out. So its July? Hubby and me will for sure go and see it!

I hope your headache has subsided and you have been able to enjoy at least some of the day!

1 boy(me) and 2 girls and no more after that. They told her that she would have a high chance of having twins if she got pregnant again so she said 3 was enough.

I am really close to my sisters. We talk multiple times a day. I haven't seen my sister in Seattle in 4 years but we talk on the phone 3 or 4 times a day usually.

That is sooooo great that you are close to your sisters!

Well...it took a while, but I got through all of the posts today!

So...I took my mp3 player (that holds my precious Christmas music) to work today and listened to Christmas music at various times during the day! I listened to it while on my walk at lunch time. Now...just try not to smile (or...skip cheesy) when listening to Christmas music!

The trick is when getting back to work...to not whistle or hum - or even sing the last song heard. During the "socially acceptable" time (to the rest of the world), its totally normal. But...in May! Hahahaha! I kept catching myself starting to hum "All I want for Christmas (Santa Can You Hear Me)" (by Britney Spears) all afternoon! Hehehe!

I vowed not to do any work this evening, and I'm not! I've been enjoying the MMC Podcast 6 (I got it from Facebook...and thank you!)! Right now...the MMC family is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! Oh...there was XMAS - and now SNOW-IN-TEXAS! Oh...it is soooooooooo AWESOME!!! Really...all of YOU are AWESOME!!!

Have a very merry evening everyone!!!

Hey guys! we won our last game of the season tonight! every year it seems the ball seasons get shorter and shorter.I guess that alot of it has to do with I usually play during summer season too. we won as many games as we lost this year but at least we won the last one so it ended on a good note. Things are so hectic everywhere...work ...home it just seems people are racing around trying to tie up loose ends as the school year ends. My gf's last day was today of work until they go back in late july and the kids start weds august 3rd. I am moving her in a little each day,but this saturday is going to be where we get all the heavy stuff like dressors and Bed and sofa's. It's funny that every time I move I say "this is the last time" knowing full well it won't be. It is just something i despise doing... I hope everyone has a great night...PS..I need to get into watching americal Idol..but I think it's too late in the season!

Well, got home from the worktrip....watched Dancing with the Stars elimination night...and just visited with the wife. Good night! Heading to bed watching Netflix! I love streaming Netflix....

Love all the Christmas news coming out....thanks to everyone who is digging for it. Haven't got to like the Facebook page yet, but I will.

Hope everyone had fun at the Pines tonight....see yall in the morning.

So interesting that this is your first time to have spaghetti. It is a VERY common dish here. I hope you enjoy it!

oh....it is not the first time to make spaghetti.....but it was the first time to do em with meatballs and this sauce....since over here in Germany we dont have that dish....we have Spaghetti a la bolognese....but not Spaghetti with Meatballs......
over here spaghetti seem to be every kid s and most grown ups most favorite thing to eat......be it with sauce bolognese, a la carbonara, frutti di mare and on...we just dont have the meatballs dish....and from now on...we will have it more often :D

It sounds like a very exciting time in your life!

HA! I know about saying "this is the last time" (for moving). I'm not even going to say how many times I've moved during my adult life! People wouldn't believe it. I have been living in the same house for almost 5 years now - and that was way longer than where I've ever lived before. But guess what?...another move is going to happen this year! Ya...this will be the last time (...NOT)! cheesy

Good morning to all!

I had soooooooooo much fun last night! I was on here for a while, listened to the MMC podcast 6 (beautiful!) and played guitar! What a great evening it was!

But alas...I did not sleep well. Tossing and turning - plus my nose was stuffed-up and my throat felt funny. I sure hope those guys at work did not give me their cold! I snoozed the alarm an extra time this morning, so I am already behind schedule!

But...I've already got a spring in my step because that's what happens when I come to MMC!

Have a super and merry day today!

Morning All!

I've just listened to the 20th December Podcast and got to hear a lot of your voices, you all sounded great - it was fantastic, I loved it! Really warmed my heart and put a smile on my face.

Am working from home today and have my youngest here 'helping' me type. Then my eldest is cheerleading tonight and young man is at rugby - resulting in me needing to be in 2 places at one time as usual, whilst trying to entertain the other 2!!!!! Roll on bed time I am exhausted all ready.

Are you guys looking forward to American XFactor? XFactor is a part of Christmas viewing in the UK as the program starts mid september and the final is the week before christmas, its in competition with Strictly Come Dancing (Dancing with the Stars) prime time Saturday evenings. I believe Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole have left the UK version to work in the US so currently we only have 2 judges! Would love to hear what you think about it and if its scheduled to air same time as the UK.

Ok best go and make the little one her milk before she becomes too vocal!

Take care everyone
Naomi:snowball:

Good Morning MMC !

Going to get all the decorations for the cakes finished today. They are all of gum paste and Pastillage so need a few days to dry well. Two cakes are for the air cadets and will have their crest as well as a small plane and glider on it. The last cake is for a grad and will have a grad cap on it.
