Me too! I am always happy to hear Christmas updates!Love all the Christmas news coming out....thanks to everyone who is digging for it.
I can't wait to see the pictures!Going to get all the decorations for the cakes finished today. They are all of gum paste and Pastillage so need a few days to dry well. Two cakes are for the air cadets and will have their crest as well as a small plane and glider on it. The last cake is for a grad and will have a grad cap on it.

I love this series! One of the best I've ever seen.Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Yesterday was uneventful. I have been struggling dilligently to finish watching the entire series of Lost on Netflix. I'm almost there, just three more episodes! I've watched five years of episodes in three weeks! LOL It's a pretty good show. I couldn't watch it while it was first run 'cause it doesn't come on Disney Channel. That's the only channel I think my TV will pickup during waking hours.
I hope you all have a great day! cheesy
She sure is!I was having a conversation with my daughter on how I have been a member on other forums and quit because of controversy and bickering among members. I never got involved in the bickering but witnessed more than I wanted to.
I told her that this is the first forums that I have been on that is very active and very friendly.
She said, "it's because everyone is so jolly"!
She is right!
I wonder what Christmas in July is all about. I've never heard of it before.Okay Christmas in July fans I finally recieved messages back from HSN and QVC. HSN said they haven't released their july schedule yet. QVC's has me a bit confused. Here is their message
"Per your inquiry, Christmas in July is scheduled for July 24th and 25th."
They don't mention the 23rd which is when Valerie says she is scheduled. So maybe we are getting a 3 day event this year.

Thank you for the information. I just checked, and you can watch those channels on the internet too. Looking forward to it!It's a shopping event on the cable-TV shopping networks---they sell Christmas items in July. It's an extension of a tradition some keep of enjoying a little Christmas cheer in the heat of summer---some folks just watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music in July, others throw parties or host Christmas dinners. I haven't done it myself, but I'm sure our folks who have will come along and share ideas!
That Dec. 20 podcast was a hit!
Hope everyone has a great day! See yall tonight!
