Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Well...I'm caught up on the posts, and here I am.

It is Victoria Day in Canada - so we have today off!

Yesterday turned out to be such a lovely day! It was supposed to rain all day - and then around 1pm I saw the sun!

HA! At one point I took myself out on the back deck to get some sun. So...there I was...on a beautiful hot and sunny day...in shorts and a summer top...laying in the sun - and listening to Christmas music on my mp3 player! Hahahaha! You know you love Christmas when... cheesy

I did some shopping, some cooking, some cleaning, some exercising, some guitar playing (etc.) yesterday.

Today I have to do some work-work - but I'm hoping to have some fun time too. Oh...I'll make sure of it!

Guys today is probably going to be my last day posting until early October. Tuesday I have to start staying on base to train for our mission in Bosnia,and I officially leave June 5th. I can't tell you how much I am going to miss this place! I will miss every single one of you guys...when I come back in October there will be so many new posters and the holiday season will be here as I count halloween season in with the rest of em! I will have MMC withdrawels for sure the next few days!

Welcome to Monday all! Its a holiday here in Canada but I don't get those off in my line of work. My Wife and Son are home today though! We are loving our new doors and windows. So nice to have screens in! When we moved in most of the screens were missing so we couldn't open them. We went to the bank on the weekend. Opened an account for William and we are putting money in it every month for his education. Also we reassessed out mortgage! Rates went down so we are paying about 100 dollars less. Nice! We were at Canadian tire again and I still saw those Christmas popcorn cans (the pic I posted before). Looks like nobody bought them yet! Oh and most excellent news! (Wayne's World anyone? hah) My Sister had her baby yesterday! Madison Rose. So I'm an Uncle! We are going to go down this weekend to see the baby and visit. Well back to work I go. Pretty dead today! Ill be here watching the forums. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning from the cloudy suburbs of Philadelphia!

Want to get outside for a walk/jog but it looks ominous, like it could rain any moment, so I guess I should wait until the afternoon... thinking about putting Home Alone on while I play with the kiddos!

ps, which Canadian Tire store? Is the one on Dundas near the Walmart? Me and my daughter are going to London tomorrow and just may go and check it out.

Days to Christmas Day: 216
The 200-day mark to Christmas Day is a scant 16 days off.
Then, double-100's territory!

Wow! Hard rain last night with a bit of lightning to boot. Enough to wake even me up! But no matter. The pattering of rain quickly returned me to the land of slumber.
Calm and sunny now with our temp already up to 72 on the way to the low 90's by this afternoon.
That, coupled with higher humidity, is a telling prequel to Summer!

The cat scan didn't show anything so they sent my niece home. Even though the blood work and cat scan came back clean the doctor isn't convinced that it's not appendicitis. So he said to keep an eye on her and to bring her back in right away if her temp gets higher or the pain gets more severe.

I hate seeing when my little ones are sick and hurting. I hope she stays out of pain. Keep us posted.

Terrible news on the tornados last night. At that same time we were issued a tornado watch but ended up with severe thunderstorms. My little doggy was so terrified all night.

I pray for all those affected.
