boy is it hot out today! Already up to 31c (feels like 40c with the humidity the weather guy tells me)

It is very hot and I am getting cranky - so do not do well in humidity. Taking a long break and then going back to work.

Alright, we made it home from the hospital and got Brendan some lunch and now he's off to nap some more. I'm thinking I will head to the grocery store before picking Kaylin up from daycare. Oh the little delights of being a mother - childfree trips to the grocery store! Woot!

i hear ya! i WILL NOT take my 20 month old food shopping with me, it's too much stress! i wait until she's in nursery (daycare) or i leave her home with her daddy and i go. only taken her a handful of times and it's so not worth it!

I actually always liked having Kandice with me doing grocery shopping or any kind of shopping....there was just a certain age, I didnt go shopping with her alone....always two grown ups and Kandice....she was so much....lol
 
@Mo.....I can imagine how it feels to send Bruce off to Philly.....let it all out...but dont worry...from what You told me he s a very good guy....with the exception of bringing his momma cheese back from Italy...but hey....maybe he ll bring ya a philly cheese steak from Philly...I d like that.......sorry...missed the topic...anyhow, I am sure the three months will pass by incredibly quick and it will really pay off for Bruce to have such a great mom who raised him to be such a good, young man.

I took both mine and sometimes the kids I was babysitting. I must have been nuts! It got a little crazy at times. :lol:
 
My mom and I took the grandkids to the spray water park today and we brought a picnic. They had a blast. It was so hot outside and I kept humming, "Baby it's Cold Outside".

my daughters air conditioner is leaking like crazy, now I know why the previous owner was happy to give the thing away! It is a portable one that you only have to stick a hose out the window to vent, the unit sits in the house so you can take it from room to room. Well, we took it apart and found the water hose was disconnected. put it back together and sealed it and after it is dry tomorrow she will try it again and see if it still leaks. If it does she will get rid of it and we will go hunting for another one.
 
Good evening, everyone. I just got off the phone from ordering eight pizzas for tomorrow's party. We have a great Round Table here in our small town that just cannot be beat. Each group got together today and decided what kind of pizza they wanted. So I think tomorrow will be a good day for them. Hope y'all have a great evening. I need to cough some more even though it hurts like a son of a gun. I need to get that crap out of my chest so my ribs won't hurt so much.
