Good morning,

I am at my in laws house quickly catching up, my computer at home will not let me access MMC. My bro-in-law is checking out my computer, seeing if he can figure it out. I have missed this place. I am off until Saturday for a bereavement for my grandmother in law, and I can also help with my mother in law who is home now. My bro in law has seemed to figure it out now so I will see when I get home if it is working correctly.

Good evening everyone! I may have a few days to be around more because I have gotten sick...my blood glucose keeps getting very low and I passed out yesterday and today,so I am on bedrest(yay!!) for an undetermined amount of time. yesterday it was 43 after I blacked out and today it was 55..it's suppose to be in between 70 and 120. I have never had this problem before so it does have me conserned..anywho I am trying my hardest to catch up here,but it is nearly impossible! You guys have lit this thread on fire! I think yall are already to the page where I thought you would be at when I came home in october! I take it alot of you are watching Christmas in July!! I never have watched it before but I hope you all get that warm christmas feeling when viewing it. I think I would go bankrupt from ordering everything I saw on it! have a great day everyone...and thanks everyone for the warm welcome back yesterday!

When I was looking into laptop computers and had my eye on the one I have now the guy said, "the only problem is, there is not a built in webcam on this one". I said, "good, then I will buy it then"! I don't want a built in webcam on mine AT ALL!

I will keep the bandaid in mind if I purchase another laptop. =)

I dont want a webcam either......it just isnt something I would be interested in !

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! It feels like a convection outside. I am pretty sure I could sit some cake batter on my porch and it would bake. They said this is the worst heat wave since 1941 and there isn't much relief in sight. I have been watching HSN for the last hour and it looks like they are doing a much better job this year. The studio is definitely looking better than in years past. The doctor told mom that most the pain she still has is from artihis in the mid joint of the foot. She also has a wire that he put it in with a kevlar anchor to keep her tendon in place the last time he did surgery that is causing a tender spot on the side of her foot so he is going to remove it on august 12th. He can do it right there in his office so she said go for it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Christmas family!

It is a foggy morning out - in a few minutes I am going to go and take care of the outside fur kids. Some of the kittens are looking around wondering what the fog is - they are so cute when they experience things for the first time.

No storms last night so I slept fairly good until the alarm went off at 3 and woke me up. For the record, I didn't set the alarm. Once it was turned off, I went right back to sleep.

Working today - not sure what I am going to be doing, but it will be something that will keep me fairly cool. Washing glassware might do the trick. I've found that with dial-up I can do a load of glassware while I wait for a job to load/post.

Hubby and I are so lucky because our baby was a stray that became ours 13 years ago.

I wish we had ShopNbc on tv. I do have it going online right now but can't watch it while I am on here. I much rather have it on tv.

Good news on all the stray kitties. They got fixed and all their shots and were returned this morning. I wish they could all just have a permanent home but at least they are healthy and my neighbor and I keep them fed and plenty of water.

Good morning friends! It's HOT in Ohio too! It was 82º at 5:15 this morning! WEW! had to wear a tank top to walk - that doesn't happen too often so early in the morning!!

We are having a Christmas In July party Saturday at the lake! I'm really excited! Last night I mixed up batter for Christmas cookies!! We are having a white elephant exchange so I need to come up with some "junk" to put in there. Lol! So exciting! I will dig out some lights & probably the tree from here at work. (easy to put up) and maybe I'll have to make some peanut brittlle & egg nog too?!?! I made peanut butter brownie cookies last ngiht, which I made at Christmas last year, so they are kind of a Christmas thing for me! :smile: So FUN!!!

My Lily continues to do well. She and Smokey have struck up a friendship as I knew they would. In fact, I caught Smokey washing her today...(He wouldn't want me to say that.....macho cat thing I guess !) I wish she would eat a little more....she eats fine I just don't think she eats often enough. She weighs 2.6 pounds and I am watching to make sure she gets enough every day.

The chores of being a pet parent.........sigh. Actually I wouldn't have it any other way. Wish is doing well except for that very brief almost non-existant moment a few days ago which was over almost before it started.

That is 98f (humadex of 118f)
I doubt very much that will cool you off.
Maybe if we set up some fans at the north pole?
