Hi all,

I've been so busy with the server move and the podcast (you HAVE to hear this new one) that I haven't been able to keep up here. It is so heartwarming to hear you all fight the heat with watching the Christmas in July stuff on TV. Only here on MMC could something like that happen.

I have a couple of favors to ask of those who frequent this thread:

Have any of you heard from Xmas365? I have and he's having a problem accessing MMC since we did the server move. I tried to talk him through a few things he needed to do in order to access the site but he's having all kinds of trouble. I've exhausted my knowledge in this area. Have we any experts in this area who can help get Xmas365 back????? If you think you can help please PM me.

Also, we're having a chat this Sunday at 8pm London and 8pm USA EDT. We hope you all come to help us discuss what we're calling the World's Largest Christmas Party. If you guys can engineer a Christmas in July with everyone sitting around in their underwear in front of fans and air conditioners imagine what you could plan for 12/11/11 when we try to have a Christmas party online involving, oh, everyone in the world.

Wow, I'm jealous! I can't remember the last time I got 8 hours of sleep. I consider myself lucky if I get 6!!!

Good evening everyone! I may have a few days to be around more because I have gotten sick...my blood glucose keeps getting very low and I passed out yesterday and today,so I am on bedrest(yay!!) for an undetermined amount of time. yesterday it was 43 after I blacked out and today it was 55..it's suppose to be in between 70 and 120. I have never had this problem before so it does have me conserned..anywho I am trying my hardest to catch up here,but it is nearly impossible! You guys have lit this thread on fire! I think yall are already to the page where I thought you would be at when I came home in october! I take it alot of you are watching Christmas in July!! I never have watched it before but I hope you all get that warm christmas feeling when viewing it. I think I would go bankrupt from ordering everything I saw on it! have a great day everyone...and thanks everyone for the warm welcome back yesterday!

It has been an incredibly taxing week so far. I finally got the stress migraine that I knew had been building today, but thankfully it seems to have passed. I just can't wait until the second week of September and everything I'm dealing with right now has passed.

I am at my in laws house quickly catching up, my computer at home will not let me access MMC. My bro-in-law is checking out my computer, seeing if he can figure it out. I have missed this place. I am off until Saturday for a bereavement for my grandmother in law, and I can also help with my mother in law who is home now. My bro in law has seemed to figure it out now so I will see when I get home if it is working correctly.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! It feels like a convection outside. I am pretty sure I could sit some cake batter on my porch and it would bake. They said this is the worst heat wave since 1941 and there isn't much relief in sight. I have been watching HSN for the last hour and it looks like they are doing a much better job this year. The studio is definitely looking better than in years past. The doctor told mom that most the pain she still has is from artihis in the mid joint of the foot. She also has a wire that he put it in with a kevlar anchor to keep her tendon in place the last time he did surgery that is causing a tender spot on the side of her foot so he is going to remove it on august 12th. He can do it right there in his office so she said go for it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon, Christmas friends. It is still HOT here in Phoenix. Many of the businesses have misters outside (no, not Mr.). They really help a lot. We have really had some good meals here. Tonight, we are going to Coach and Willie's. The menu on the website looks awesome! I bought hubby a gift to present to him tonight as his last few hours as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler. It is a shadowbox of pins from the single-digit Elks lodges still existing: New York, #1, San Francisco, #3, Sacramento, #6, and I forgot the other two! He will be so surprised. It was a little expensive, but the proceeds went to Elks National Foundation which funds scholarships and lots of other things for youth. Tomorrow, the Elks will be giving away two $60,000 scholarships!!! Hope everyone has a great afternoon and evening!

Good evening, everyone!

I have a quick moment to check in. I apologize for my lack of posting again. I am currently attempting to balance my life between work, sports and my girlfriend. It is difficult. Being outside in the sun all day and responsible for 50+ kids takes a lot out of you.

On top of that, I have my competitive frisbee about three to five times a week. It leaves no time for anything. When I have time, I am nearly completely exhausted and unable to type together coherent sentences.

I hope all is well with everyone. Keep enjoying your summers. Christmas is July is coming up very soon!

I'm sorry she has arthritis, but glad she can get the wire our at the doctor's office!

Good evening, Pines dwellers!

It was hot, but I survived. Tomorrow it is supposed to feel like 110 - so not used to that this far north! The animals are all fine - the cats are reveling in the heat. In another hour I'm going to venture out and do a head count and check on Shaggy. He has been barking at the dump truck and the car whose owner plays the stereo so loud you can hear the car coming a mile or so away. Actually, you can feel the car coming - lol. I'm waiting for the sun do go down a bit more before I put Bo out - it is too stuffy in the house for him and he needs the fresh air.

Finished work on time so the rest of the evening I can relax at the Pines. Looking forward to a tall, very cold and unsweetened tea with lemon. No fancy blends for me tonight, just something cool and refreshing! I will be sipping it as I chill in the hammock - ah, what a great life!
