Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is going to be a warm day here in central Indy but right now it is a beautiful morning with a temp of 56 degrees. I watched the Santa Clause yesterday and I'm thinking about watching 2 and 3 today. I also have some cooking to do before it gets hot again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I woke up early this morning with a monster of a headache, but I was way too tired to get up and take anything for it. Needless to say, when I finally got up to start the day, the headache was much worse. After taking extra-strength pain relievers and allergy tablets I feel great. Well, I am very sleepy, but I'll take feeling that way over a headache any day!

I'm glad your head is feeling better!!!! Allergy pills always make me tired. That is one reason I hate taking them especially since they don't help me most of the time.

We are excited here in town! The high on Thursday, September 1, will be 97 degrees! That will feel like autumn to us seeing that it will reach 105 today. Then predicted for the next 7 days after that mid 90's. All we have had, seems like forever, is 105 temps and up. I see a light at the end of the tunnel! Cooler temps ahead!

Bring on Autumn!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ready!!!!!

Good morning everyone! It is such a beautiful morning here..in the low to mid 60's ahhh Fall is defintely in the air! Although I cant say the falling leaves are a sign..since that was just from the storm! Waiting for those leaves to start to change colors.

Started a new routine last night. I am running and showering at night instead of in the morning. It worked out well last night and I got to sleep in until 6 this morning instead of 4:30... that was a big difference! Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon!

And so we pass under 2 1/2 weeks away from the 100-day Christmas
Day marker.
Onward we march -- ever onward.

Calm but a bit overcast here where we stand just under 70 degrees.
A nice start to the day -- low enough temperature for nice walking and no direct sun for glare. (Nice for driving, too!)
Chance of rain today, then we are dry for several.
(Looks like our drought is gone thanks to Irene. At least the news media doesn't talk about it anymore!)

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, it's humid here today! I walked outside this morning, and immeadiately broke out in a sweat. Ugh. It's supposed to be in the low 90's here for the rest of the week, too, but the humidity eliminates most of the relief. Oh, well.

I opened the store for my father-in-law this morning so he could go squirrel hunting. He had planned to go to the coast fishing with his youngest son, but his son's work got in the way. Maybe next time.

Good morning everyone! Tuesdays are my new day off at work, so I'm enjoying a lazy morning! I've slept in and now I'm lounging for a bit on the computer. That won't last for too long, because I have a pretty long to do list today. I have to put new tires on the truck, cook dinner for tonight, and start my overhaul cleaning project on my home office. Its kind of our junk room where everything goes when we "clean" the rest of the house lol. My only method of cleaning this room previously has been to shut the door. Wish me luck!!!

Its supposed to be another beautiful day around 88 degrees. Maybe have some hotter days with a bit of rain the rest of this week. I suppose that I can handle that. I'd love to say we're almost through the summer heat, but in St. Louis, the weather can still heat up well into October if we're having an indian summer.

Okay, I better get to work. Too much to do! Will stop in soon!

I just heard from a friend of mine who lives in Mass,but was actually on vacation in VT this past week. I have been worried since Irene hit there the worst I think. So I am relieved about hearing he made it home(although it took hours longer) and his home was okay.One day closer to the season,we are actually getting pretty close,and I can't believe how fast it has come! have a great day everyone!
