Christmas Countdown - 2011

Well at five this morning my one year old decided she had enough sleep and it was time for everyone to wake up. The Mrs. and I slowly got her to relax and fall back asleep and then we promptly dozed off ourselves and overslept. Getting three kids ready in the morning in half the alloted time is about as fun as a root canal.

I could us a nap.

W0w We are cruising quickly to 1800!!!! Im subbing today in the high school, some of the kids decided to "test" this sub. Oh my silly kids, I will make their heads " roll" !!! I am fair and fun but cross the line and you are done!! Hey ,that rhymes !! Anyhow , I can handle it.

Its getting close to lunch time here, talk to you all later. !

.....Well last night I had to make a quick trip to the grocery store and on the way there and back I saw several house with their outside Christmas light still up and On and in 3 of the houses you could see their Christmas Tree shinning brightly through the windows.....

The lady who lives right across the street from my father still has all her decorations up and lit!

Hi every one.. hope every one is well... I am not so great actually....

I knew I didn't do well on that exam I had to take on 24th of december, and of course, I failed it... So I'm going to have to retake it, and I only got a week to study, soo if any one sees me on here this week: please have me reported&kicked off I don't have time to be on here
An other bad thing is that my internship is in danger by my mailman replacing my birth certificate in the mail... I had to had in at the ministery TODAY, and now I have nothing as far as they know, I am not even a real citizen of the Netherlands... so I hope that gets fixed, but now I have to focus on my exam and it feels like my head is about to explode (and believe me, that is an awful feeling )

Sooo I hope all of you will be well... if you happen to be praying, please pray (a little) for me, this is the only last thing I need to graduate, and I want to graduate so bad!!! So I could use some good thoughts coming to Holland!! Thank you all for supporting me, I will keep you informed whenever I have time!!!

Good morning, Christmas Family !

Just stopping by real quick to say hello !!

A little more work today Thank GOD !! I got kind of scared last evening because my little Smokey got sick. With both my senior kitties passing within a month I sort of panicked !! But he is okay. We all get sick from time to time. It is that mother instinct in me that was going off........This morning he is rip-roaring through the house as he always does.

Wonderful Opera last night. I am very honored to know all of you xo

I know the feeling. When my furry or feather family members get sick I panic as well. They can't tell you what's wrong and it's so hard to know if it's serious or not. I am glad Smokey is better!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a rainy day here in central Indy. I am thankful that it isn't snow though. My plan for today is to keep cleaning and to do some laundry. I didn't sleep all that great so I may also sneak a nap in this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I might have to get a nap as well. I started feeling better late yesterday afternoon but feeling kinda yucky again this morning.

YUCK would rather have more snow... cheesy Well last night I had to make a quick trip to the grocery store and on the way there and back I saw several house with their outside Christmas light still up and On and in 3 of the houses you could see their Christmas Tree shinning brightly through the windows. My son is back on his Polar Express kick again... he has been watching the movie over and over again... LOL..

My daughter and son-in-law are raising 3 little ones and it is hard work and they scurry around everyday getting everyone ready for the day. Then I get them 40 hours a week or more (most weeks) while they work. It is hard work on grandma too! cheesy At least I get to send them home at the end of the day and just fall into bed. cheesy

So far another 4 inches of snow has fallen, school is closed again so everybody is home. We are cruising along 1800 very close now. I did count 20 houses with lights on last night, one tree still shining in a window.

I haven't been there in almost 20 years. I may have to plan a trip down that way this year. The last time we went there we stayed at Lincoln state park just down road from the town. Half of us ended up with food poisoning the second day and it kind of ruined the experience. The state park is great if you are interested in Lincoln. His sister Sarah is buried there and right across the street is Lincoln boyhood national memorial. His mom Nancy is buried there and they have a living historical farm that is pretty cool. They also have a museum that has some of Lincolns writings and artifacts. They made alot of improvements last year to both places so I am sure tht they are both even better now.

Sounds like a great place to visit! Sorry that most of you got sick. =(

Outside lights still on and tree in window here. Have no idea when I will turn off. Might leave on till end of month. The snow on the ground just makes it all look so good.

Just talked to a buddy in Amhurst.mass and they are gettting snow and freezing rain so his work is closing at 130 . to all the people in the notheast be careful on the roads today!

Good morning all. Hope everyone is having a good day. Got up with a very, very nasty headache and still have. Oh well been dealing with them for years nothing new. Maybe I used it to much last night thinking. (brain that is) Weather is setting up to do something again once it decides what it wants to do. Little fog and mist which is ok but not good when 24 degrees outside. Going to have to get busy I guess work on getting stuff set up to build, redoing storage area's for new stuff and well I call it the yearly cleaning of the workshop. Lot's to roll out this year plus I have been requested to maybe make another boat for a guy. Going to have to think about that one. Will post the pictures of the other one I made someday.

Hi everyone 300th day is almost over here, and as of tommorow we are in the 200's!!!! It has been a bit of a depressing day here! Been very home sick again, it doesn't help everytime I think of home I can see christmas decor everywhere and in my street! I left before everything was down!!! Heres hoping tommorow is a happier day!!!

Good evening everyone! I have been through 24 hours of pure hell..to make the long story short..I mixed up my medications I just started on and ended up taking the one I'm suppose to take as soon as I wake up..In other words I took speed(adderall) at 10 at night..so I have basically been awake for 2 days..I'm suppose to take adderal for ADHD but it makes me nervous so I have to call the DR back and get his to switch me. enough about me Hope everyone is having a great day!

Greetings Friends Old and New!
Been away for sometime but now I am back and ready to countdown with you all. Recently changed jobs, still working on my home, living life and being a mom. I've missed you all! And want to thank everyone who emailed me, sent birthday wishes, Christmas cards and gifts. It means alot. You guys are great and like a second family to me. Well my sister had her baby in March a little boy...Daxton James. My sister in law Stephanie is pregnant and due any day. She is having a little girl. This will be her 3rd child. I had a really nice Christmas and so far my New Year has been great! Our weather lately has been very Spring like...a little rain and kinda warm outside. I actually sat out this morning and drank some coffee. Haven't had a chance to really look around on here yet but I was pleasantly surprised with the new look of the home page...awesome job Jeff! I hope everyone is doing well and that all your Holidays were Happy.
