My first post of the 2011 thread and my beginning of my contribution on the way to 20,000!

Welcome Back Friend!!!!! I hope you enjoyed your time on the beach!!!!!!!cheesy

G'Morning everyone, Happy 2011!!! Going out for a bit to hit the 75 recent off sales today.

I hit walmart this morning but ended up getting mostly candy. I did buy my youngest niece a pink christmas tree for her bedroom. I may run to meijer later today to see if they have anything left.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!! We are off to a cold start today here in central Indy. We are only expecting a high of 27 today compared to the 60 that we reached on Friday. I don't have much planned for today. I went to church this morning and then stopped at walmart on my way home. This afternoon I will probably kick back and watch some football. The colts have to win today to guarantee a playoff spot so I will definitely be watching that game. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon,

I am really struggling today, back to reality tomorrow, the last week was such a great dream. I have my MMC to help me escape to Christmas whenever I need.

Have a great Sunday.

"Good day, eh? In case you thought, like, I wasn't on this part." Though I didn't make too many appearances in the 2010 thread, I thought I would do my part to push 2011 over the 20,000 post challange mark as set by our fearless leader, El Jeffe and cheered onward and upward by Seawaters.

Maybe I will have enough to say each day to pop in for perhaps one post. That will add at least 360 more from last year considering the regulars post at the same rate or better this year.

Mostly you'll find me in the radio and music forums digging for and sharing online Christmas audio sources. I hope Platinum members will visit there this year as well and take advantage of the downloads offered each Rudolph Day. What I would really like most is for others to find and post more links every day of the year!

YABBA! YOU GUYS ROCK!

I think we need around 55 posts per day to hit the 20,000 mark...

Happy New Year To Everyone in the central time zone!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, made! Those of us west of the Eastern Time Zone get left out of the Countdown thread closing festivities.

Outstanding news!!! Every time I went on, the O-Duck was in the lead, and it scared me big-time. WOW!! I am SO happy!!!

You are so right, RadioJonD. Sometimes I really feel all by myself. Hmmm. Maybe I should write a song with that title!!!

Just like RadioJonD said, each of us could add 360 post per person and definitely reach our 20,000 goal. RadioJonD, can you post more about your Rudolph Day posts. I know they occur on the 25th of each month, but what happens? What kinds of things do you want posted? Is there a link we could go to to read more about it? I would also like to add that I LOVE all your album covers, etc. that you have in your album!

Good! I am glad you got "mostly candy," and the pink tree is a great idea! Of course, pink is my signature color!

You know? I was just thinking!! (Big problemo!) If we each read all the posts every day and responded to those that interested us, we could probably go OVER our goal of 20,000 for Countdown 2011!! Whaddya think?

Watching a bunch of football today. Can't believe the playoffs begin next week.

I found a site that I thought I would share with you all. It shows you when Christmas movies will be on tv.

By the way, how many posts do I need to make before my posts are immediately shown in this thread?

Have a great Sunday afternoon.

Good Afternoon Christmas family

Back to work today as usual. Not so bad. The Christmas blues are continuing but not as bad as last year yet. That won't happen 'til I take down the tree at close to the end of this month. I am not planning anything much today. Hallmark Channel is showing Christmas movies the rest of today. I just watched the end of A Carol Christmas and then all of Moonlight and Mistletoe. Later on there is a good one called The Santa Suit. I caught the end of it one morning over the weekend and it seemed really good.

Have a great day, Christmas family.

Seawaters, How is your Kitty ??? I hope she is doing okay !! xo

My Kitty is getting better and better! Is the name of the movie "The Man in the Santa Claus Suit" starring Fred Astair? I love that one. He plays, I think, 11 different characters in the movie! I show it to my students and tell them to search for the characters!

Not to intrude on the Countdown Thread, a full explaination is in the first post here.

A couple of jumping off places are Santas Working Overtime a blog by MMC Member Dinsdale Kringle and FaLaLaLaLa.com with associated forums. Follow the links at both of those places and one will find enough sources to keep busy all year! Some of the download links tend to be for a limited time so finding and sharing as often as possible is important.

Welcome to the Christmas 2011 countdown! I hope to check out and post more and more this year. Hope everyone had a great new years. I was in the basement playing video games and forgot about it! Lol. My Wife was sleeping. Oh well we had a great Christmas and hope this one comes even faster. The Christmas decorations are almost all down now. Pardon the spelling! I am writing this from my iPod and the keyboard on it is SMALL! Have a great Sunday evening!!!
