Thanks everyone for the sound advice, prayers & comfort! I'm going to attempt a multi-quote post one day (y'all posted good instructions)... I really wanted to go to a church Epiphany party tonight. Your words have encouraged me to try and go in spite of the fear. Guess I shoud search the pantry for ingredients to create a festive potluck dish. I do hope everyone has a peaceful Saturday!

Hi everyone. :-?

I am afraid things are not looking very good for my Goblin. I talked to the doctor today and he said Gobby (as I call him) is STILL not eating very well on his own. They are having to syringe feed him. His blood work was fine so at this point they are a bit baffled. The next thing will ben an exploratory surgery to look inside. Doc thought he felt a mass, a small one, in the abdomen, so they need to look and see what is going on. I am not giving up but I really don't think he is going to make it.

I always post the most horrible stuff on here. I either always depressed, anxious or bearing bad news. Everyone is trying to be cheerful and looking forward to things but then along I come.

I am sorry if I am a whiny little "victim" here. I think of you all as my family and I hope you understand.

Two kitties within 2 months. But I am getting ahead of myself. Gobling is still here. Perhaps things will turn around yet.

Thank you for listening. Each and every one of you already have your wings as far as I am concerned xo
 
Hi all, its the weekend before term starts and i am already back in London and have been since Wednesday, spent the last two evenigns at the opera and ballet and tonight I am going to the final Performance of the musical Oliver! Could be an emotional night!
 
Who still has their decorations up??? I refuse to take mine down!! And my LIVE tree is still going strong.. well, not really. I had a dream my house caught on fire because the darn thing is so dry. I just can't bear to take it down!!! It's snowing today and it looks so pretty.. plus more snow on Tuesday... maybe it'll come down in March?

Isn't that what families do, stick with each other through the tough times. We are hear to listen, encourage, help, etc.. the best that we can. Gobby is in my thoughts, and post what you need to.
 
Yes, we are! I am trying to hold true to my goal of reading the posts every day and trying to post every day. I know that some days are slower than others, so having built up a buffer, so to speak, we may reach our goal sooner!! What a great place this is!!!

My lights and decorations are all still up and on, probably until next weekend.
 
Good afternoon,

I should be at work but still feeling blah. It is nice and quiet right now just resting, JP is spending the day and night at his grammy's and my wife and LC went to the store. The snowstorm was a big letdown, maybe an inch.
I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!
 
We had a disappointing snowstorm yesterday and another kind of lame one today... they are saying more on Tuesday and "likely significant amounts" so we'll see...

It is a sad story. They are now saying that 4 more people have died including a child.
