Christmas Countdown - 2011

Well the Boys are in bed and my Hubby is working since its snowing. I cant help but listen to a few Christmas songs (let it snow, let it snow, let it snow and white Christmas) and I am missing my lights being up. The one neighbor across the street has hers up so I am looking at them while the snow is falling. I would love a cup of hot chocolate but Im afraid I wont be able to fall asleep after it lol. Im gonna try to read some old posts since I havent been on much recently. Have a good night , sweet dreams of Christmas 2011!

I still have 2 trees up and they are on, my outdoor lights are off but my window candles are on and will be for a while, my neighbor has their icicle lights still lit though.

I love the new avatar, he looks so cute with the tie on.

The little tree is up I know it isn't real but still looks good all the same. It's only 7 degrees with a minus 9 wind chill but I had to wade out in the snow and take a peek at it from the street. It looks good and I feel much better. Really didn't get any snow fall before Christmas so not got to see things with fresh snow on the ground. To me nothing says Merry Merry like Christmas decorations on at night with snow on the ground. So all ready for Christmas again here on the 22nd of this month.

Well, I guess I lied, I am back for one last time.
The snowstorm must be a big one, it has yet to start, and over 50 schools and such in my area have already cancelled school for tomorrow, including my town.
I guess the estimates are now 12-16 inches and possibly over 20 inches depending on the course it takes. I will take my time driving to work, if it is too bad I will turn around and come home and deal with the consequences they may have with me at my job, my life and family are way to valuable.

I agree with your thinking and do the same myself. If the job can't understand then so be it. I have told people more than once during a storm if you don't think you can get there safe, then stay home.

Well I went outside to clean the snow off my SUV and the sidewalk real quick. Its still snowing but at least it wont be as bad in the morning when I have already cleaned some of it up. Goodnight everyone.

Good Morning everyone! I have an early day at work today and its hump day this week is passing fast! I have not exactly counted the days yet on the calendar,but I put up my halloween decorations on october 1st every year and to me that is the holiday that gets the ball rolling! I'm sure that is well under 300 days now! I woke up thinking about that this morning!lol

It's 28 and windy outside this morning,Ihope that everyone that is having snow today is careful out driving in it this morning,New England especailly is getting alot today I just noticed on the News. Have a great day everyone!

Hello there everyone! very dull and damp here today, makes me feel all miserable! wish it would brighten up abit! On a different note my little girl took a couple of steps walking by herself yesterday! she has not long since turned 1, wont be long before she is chasing her sisters about!

I actually put fall decorations out in September then add the Halloween to it in October. I like to get a head start on decorating. I am the same way as far as it feeling Christmas coming fast once the Halloween decorations are up!
