Good afternoon,
Well I am home from work, I called out due to this nor'easter it has been going for 12 hours now, I shoveled my driveway and so far we have at least 18 inches on the ground they are talking maybe another 10 inches by the time all is said and done. So I wasn't even going to risk the drive and called out, there was 4-5 inches on the road and I don't have a great car in the snow.
I also decided with all of this snow I will be turning my outdoor lights for one last night because it feels so Christmasy.
Have a good day!
Get in the house! Hee hee!
Evening all! I hear it is very snowy in the states, just rainy here at the moment!
Hope everyone is well! Have my first exam of the term tommorow! Apart from the sales in the shopes here, there is no sign of christmas left, so I am replying on you all to help keep my christmas bug alive![]()
I am now officially a truck driver!!
Got my AZ licence today (same as CDL in the states)
:dance::dance:
You have no idea how much I'd love to have you and quite a few other members here as neighbors. I mean think about it would it not be the coolest neighborhood around?
That's how they take their revenge for being cut down! After being poked nearly half to death by needles, the tree is out back.....
always great when everyone is home safe and warm!My Mr. is home and safe. He drove to the commuter rail station in a blizzard this morning to take the train to work. I was worried about him commuting today, but all is well now!
Now that school is done, I can be here a little more! cheesycheesycheesyI wonder if we could get to 2,000 posts by the end of January. Anyone game?
Only one night? Are you saying you can't look out a window like me and see the glow from the lights on the snow and not get a warm feeling in your heart?
I am maybe going to let lights stay on longer this year due to snow fall. I can think of many other ways I might waste money and keeping the lights on a week or two more will cost the least of all of them. Will kick in to soup mode for dinner and save at the grocery store to offset cost.
I wonder if we could get to 2,000 posts by the end of January. Anyone game?
Good Morning, Mid-Week Friends.
.....and all is right with the world!
Bing. Is there a benchmark for your next opera installment or will it just come in its own time?
To the count:
Days to the Season: 305
Days to Christmas Day: 347
Wow. Only 5 days away from our first Milestone of 2011, the 300-day Season mark.
(It came so fast, didn't it? But that's the beauty of the Season count which has been busily running since last Nov 13.)
Below freezing once again.
(I'm begining to think it's SUPPOSED to be!)
However, the sun is shining and our thin ice mantle should be broken soon and we can all walk outside again without fear.
OK!
Carl is ready at the 'Pines for this week's open house. Come one, come all, and bring a healthy appetite for fired twinkies, Mauradio Sugar Cookies and all the sweet southern tea you can drink.
(Of course a smokey back room is always available for anyone brazen enough to sample one of Carl's coffee blend experiments. This time he said something offhand about tangerines. Egad!)
Holiday and I hope to see everyone there!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks.
:We are glad you can spend more time with us!Now that school is done, I can be here a little more! cheesycheesy
I agree....... BRING IT ON! cheesyGame? if we keep going at this rate we will be closer to 3000.
