Greetings Friends Old and New!
Been away for sometime but now I am back and ready to countdown with you all. Recently changed jobs, still working on my home, living life and being a mom. I've missed you all! And want to thank everyone who emailed me, sent birthday wishes, Christmas cards and gifts. It means alot. You guys are great and like a second family to me. Well my sister had her baby in March a little boy...Daxton James. My sister in law Stephanie is pregnant and due any day. She is having a little girl. This will be her 3rd child. I had a really nice Christmas and so far my New Year has been great! Our weather lately has been very Spring like...a little rain and kinda warm outside. I actually sat out this morning and drank some coffee. Haven't had a chance to really look around on here yet but I was pleasantly surprised with the new look of the home page...awesome job Jeff! I hope everyone is doing well and that all your Holidays were Happy.

Evening, friends! Hope everyone is doing good! Just got home from work about an hour ago and about to hit the sack. Before I went to bed, I had to catch up on the board. Glad I did.....BRAVO ON THE OPERA, BINGER!!! Magnificent! Hope everyone is getting geared up for the big football weekend...I'm going to the store tomorrow to buy supplies before our games!

Hi everyone 300th day is almost over here, and as of tommorow we are in the 200's!!!! It has been a bit of a depressing day here! Been very home sick again, it doesn't help everytime I think of home I can see christmas decor everywhere and in my street! I left before everything was down!!! Heres hoping tommorow is a happier day!!!

Good evening everyone! I have been through 24 hours of pure hell..to make the long story short..I mixed up my medications I just started on and ended up taking the one I'm suppose to take as soon as I wake up..In other words I took speed(adderall) at 10 at night..so I have basically been awake for 2 days..I'm suppose to take adderal for ADHD but it makes me nervous so I have to call the DR back and get his to switch me. enough about me Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sigh Really missing Christmas today, but am Happy that it is below the 300 mark after today. HAD A lazy day today, no subbing because of MLK day. Tommorow , I go in, as well as the rest of the week. Also, I should be ashamed to ask lol , but I dont understand How Merrychristmas radio works, not in the technical sense, but do you have to subscribe to it? I would appreciate any guidance you could give.

Temp here in Western Pa , is round 30 F tomorrow calls for sleet and snow with a rise in temps. Followed by temp dip and snow showers the following days.

I have been missing Christmas a lot lately, must be because the decorations have been coming down slowly, but we have MMC and this is such help when you need a little Christmas.

Yes wouldn't that be great. It would be awesome to hit every time zone and go to the most Christmassy spot in each. That way one could choose a destination closest to their time zone. Im on the east coast , so Im thinking NYC at The Rockefeller plaza where the "TREE" is. Its fun to imagine.

The rest of you , what would be a great meeting spot in your time zone for the MMC'RS TO GET together.

I am only about 3 hours away from NYC

I can't believe I just spent the last 45 minutes catching up on all of todays posts, I made post number 1600 this morning and we are well above 1700 now. It is a great day here, we hear back from Jayish and Annette is back after a long time away, we got an opera from Binger, and the everyday fun and friendship and comradery what a great day for the MMC family. A long day at work for me but I have tomorrow off, and like I said another snowstorm is coming 6-8 inches expected or if it shifts possibly 4 inches of sleet and freezing rain. Just watching my recording of todays Bruins game and then will be going to bed.
I am so proud and happy to be part of this great site, today feels like a little Christmas.

the opera part xxxxiv

act one: Opens with a blank stage. Jayish dances a paus du lux entitled..
" facebook...the new jersey of the internet"- a crowd gathers and they all agree to "friend jay" if he will commit to dance a paus du lux at the annual roatarian breakfast bbq which will honor the inventor of pork rinds.. He agrees and a loud cheer gows up... End act one

act two- begins with the news of jayish' impending dance.. Everyone in the village arrive to the green and announce that they will celebrate their favorite things" auntie mistletoe and undrtakr sing the duet aria.." let's all walk on maple leaves.." maureen belts out the aria " plaid: Its more than a slipcover.. Its a window to the world.." radio jon sings the aria.." what ever happened to am radio..?" binger belts out the beautidul aria.." coffee 24/7/365 which brings about great cheering when jayish arrives and dances the paus du lux entitled.." new jersey turnpike.. Breathtaking rest stops.."
end act two:

Act three: Opens with more arias..' coach sings the aria.." balls " and cainemom and made sing the aria " the midwest- god's gift and curse all at once.." all of the singing awakens the town witch/warlock crown ( enters as rain begins falling on the audience..) who is very angry that they have not received their required 23 hours of rest- they then banish the the singing company to the palstic cylinder and darkness reigns ovetr the town with a posted demand that everyone be quiet so that crown can take their afternoon nap..
End act three

act four ( finale) opens with seawaters singing the aria.." north carolina... Ahh all who hail from there are not sleepaholics.." shiny brite sings the aria.." newb doobie doo"
( which leaves the audience puzzled..) christmasholic then decides that they must free the singing company- they nail demands to crown's beach cottage insisting that they free the company or they will send bradmarc over and they will sing the aria.." the favorite hits of the ozark bluegrass band and drum corp.." which scraes crown so badly they agree to release the company... The act ends in one of the most breathtaking moments ever in operatic history with crown and jeff westover singing the aria.." why oh why doesn't someone please break binger's keyboard......" as the entire company is freed and everyone joins in trying to out paus du lux each other...

End
