Greetings Friends Old and New!
Been away for sometime but now I am back and ready to countdown with you all. Recently changed jobs, still working on my home, living life and being a mom. I've missed you all! And want to thank everyone who emailed me, sent birthday wishes, Christmas cards and gifts. It means alot. You guys are great and like a second family to me. Well my sister had her baby in March a little boy...Daxton James. My sister in law Stephanie is pregnant and due any day. She is having a little girl. This will be her 3rd child. I had a really nice Christmas and so far my New Year has been great! Our weather lately has been very Spring like...a little rain and kinda warm outside. I actually sat out this morning and drank some coffee. Haven't had a chance to really look around on here yet but I was pleasantly surprised with the new look of the home page...awesome job Jeff! I hope everyone is doing well and that all your Holidays were Happy.

Actually if you hit "go to first new post" it should take you straight to where you left off but that doesn't always work for me. It will take me to several pages back that I already read. Not sure if that feature works for others but it doesn't always work for me.

Hi every one.. hope every one is well... I am not so great actually....

I knew I didn't do well on that exam I had to take on 24th of december, and of course, I failed it... So I'm going to have to retake it, and I only got a week to study, soo if any one sees me on here this week: please have me reported&kicked off I don't have time to be on here
An other bad thing is that my internship is in danger by my mailman replacing my birth certificate in the mail... I had to had in at the ministery TODAY, and now I have nothing as far as they know, I am not even a real citizen of the Netherlands... so I hope that gets fixed, but now I have to focus on my exam and it feels like my head is about to explode (and believe me, that is an awful feeling )

Sooo I hope all of you will be well... if you happen to be praying, please pray (a little) for me, this is the only last thing I need to graduate, and I want to graduate so bad!!! So I could use some good thoughts coming to Holland!! Thank you all for supporting me, I will keep you informed whenever I have time!!!

You are definitely in my prayers, sweetie. Just remember, "This too shall pass..." Everything will work out somehow.

THE OPERA PART XXXXIV

Act ONE: Opens with a blank stage. Jayish dances a paus du lux entitled..
" Facebook...The New Jersey of the Internet"- a crowd gathers and they all agree to "friend Jay" if he will commit to dance a paus du lux at the annual Roatarian Breakfast BBQ which will honor the inventor of Pork Rinds.. he agrees and a loud cheer gows up... end act one

act two- begins with the news of Jayish' impending dance.. everyone in the village arrive to the green and announce that they will celebrate their favorite things" Auntie Mistletoe and Undrtakr sing the duet Aria.." Let's all walk on Maple Leaves.." Maureen belts out the aria " Plaid: Its more than a slipcover.. its a window to the world.." Radio Jon sings the aria.." What ever happened to AM radio..?" Binger belts out the beautidul aria.." Coffee 24/7/365 which brings about great cheering when Jayish arrives and dances the paus du lux entitled.." New Jersey Turnpike.. breathtaking rest stops.."
end ACT two:

Act Three: Opens with more arias..' Coach sings the aria.." Balls " and Cainemom and Made sing the aria " The midwest- God's gift and curse all at once.." all of the singing awakens the town witch/warlock Crown ( enters as rain begins falling on the audience..) who is very angry that they have not received their required 23 hours of rest- they then banish the the singing company to the palstic cylinder and darkness reigns ovetr the town with a posted demand that everyone be quiet so that Crown can take their afternoon nap..
end Act Three

Act four ( finale) opens with Seawaters singing the aria.." North Carolina... ahh all who hail from there are not sleepaholics.." Shiny brite sings the aria.." Newb Doobie Doo"
( which leaves the audience puzzled..) Christmasholic then decides that they must FREE the singing company- they nail demands to Crown's beach cottage insisting that they free the company or they will send Bradmarc over and they will sing the aria.." The favorite hits of the Ozark Bluegrass Band and Drum Corp.." which scraes Crown so badly they agree to release the company... the act ends in one of the most breathtaking moments ever in operatic history with Crown and Jeff Westover singing the aria.." WHY OH WHY doesn't someone please BREAK Binger's keyboard......" as the entire company is freed and everyone joins in trying to out paus du lux each other...

END

Wow! What an opera chapter from our Phantom Playwright! Dr Countdown tips their hat to you.
Sadly however, there is one out there who is upset. He was not included in this chapter. I told him he can't expect to be in every episode but he's still miffed. Even talking about shutting down his coffee experiments for a while. He has 4 legs. He's..........well, I think you can guess.

Working from home today, waiting for e-mails. Tried to drive in, but after an hour of driving through the snow behind bumper-to-bumper slipping-sliding cars, I was still in my home town, so I turned for home. I can do more from the computer than on the road, and more safely ...

Good morning, Christmas Family !

Just stopping by real quick to say hello !!

A little more work today Thank GOD !! I got kind of scared last evening because my little Smokey got sick. With both my senior kitties passing within a month I sort of panicked !! But he is okay. We all get sick from time to time. It is that mother instinct in me that was going off........This morning he is rip-roaring through the house as he always does.

Wonderful Opera last night. I am very honored to know all of you xo

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a rainy day here in central Indy. I am thankful that it isn't snow though. My plan for today is to keep cleaning and to do some laundry. I didn't sleep all that great so I may also sneak a nap in this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good morning all... messy weather outside..freezing rain/rain... YUCK would rather have more snow... cheesy Well last night I had to make a quick trip to the grocery store and on the way there and back I saw several house with their outside Christmas light still up and On and in 3 of the houses you could see their Christmas Tree shinning brightly through the windows. My son is back on his Polar Express kick again... he has been watching the movie over and over again... LOL..

How about, Santa Claus, Indiana!

I haven't been there in almost 20 years. I may have to plan a trip down that way this year. The last time we went there we stayed at Lincoln state park just down road from the town. Half of us ended up with food poisoning the second day and it kind of ruined the experience. The state park is great if you are interested in Lincoln. His sister Sarah is buried there and right across the street is Lincoln boyhood national memorial. His mom Nancy is buried there and they have a living historical farm that is pretty cool. They also have a museum that has some of Lincolns writings and artifacts. They made alot of improvements last year to both places so I am sure tht they are both even better now.
