Yes , your right.Seeing them half out like that has spuured me to think about taking em down real soon. It looks junky with half of em out ! It wont kill me to throw em out if indeed thay are spent .But it would be nice to avoid that as well.

My nickname is two words else where but on the internet, You know I was looking at some pictures the other night and saw something that made me go I have one of those? I need to get all my stuff out and go through it. I have just in past couple of years got back into the real Christmas spirt. Wish I had someone to help me as in sharing the things I find. Some I remember but going to be things that will semi surprise me.

I love that about looking through stuff, sometimes I forget what I bought on clearance from the after Christmas clearance sales and when I see it ,when its time to get the stuff out its like ........ Christmas !~ I get so happy and am like" Oh my I forgot I bought that ." Glad you are back in the Spirit again. Oh and thanks for putting that link on here with those retro adds . Haven't checked it out yet but I love stuff like that.

What shall Ido with them if they cant be fixed? I also have a set of those redbell lights that dont work either . Husband tried changing the fuse .Nothing !! They have been hanging in the garage Lifeless for a couple of years now.

These were made by ge as well, got them at walmart afew years ago. Havent seen em out since . In the stores that is .

wANT TO know what my biggest fear is in regards to Christmas Lighting?Im am afraid that the incandescent mini twinkle lites are going to obsolete. To date , I am not a fan of LED lights, I hope i haven't offended anyone but saying that. It seemed that this year there were tons of Led lights on the shelves. Im afraid they are going to take over. Look at some of the lites of the past that are now obsolete. Bubble lights etc. C-7 S are still around but certainly not in the volume of other types. Maybe my fear is not based in reality . It was just a thought I had this past holiday season.

C-7 and C-9 be around for a while yet
