Good evening my Christmas companions,

Long day at work today, the person who was to help me with the inventory didn't end up helping me, I nearly had to do the whole thing by myself, it was the first time I had to run it, and I finished on time to my surprise. One more work day and then a day off I cannot wait for it my body is tired. I started a notebook for my future Christmas store a few days ago, I am making sure to write down my ideas as they come to me, I have filled up 4 pages so far.

I hope everyone has a good Friday night, and enjoy the weekend.
:yahoo:

Isn't that the way it always is ?? My Gosh. I hear you!! Somebody supposed to help who doesn't geesh !!! I hope you get to rest soon, you deserve it. So glad you are putting your ideas on paper. I am so proud to be one of your friends !!! Can't wait for your store !!

I feel so good to have that goal right now, it is my passion to make the store come true and I will do everything I can to do it. First thing I will be doing this spring/summer is taking "field trips" to a bunch of different Christmas stores to get some ideas to make mine the best.

That sounds like an excellent way to start !! I am excited for you !!! This world can NEVER have enough Christmas stores as far as I am concerned and one run by the Certified Yule Fool is certain to be THE MOST WONDERFUL Christmas store EVER !!!!!

cheesy Merry greetings y'all - wanted to share a cute story with you!

One of my gifts from Christmas 2010 was the interactive book version of A Charlie Brown Christmas. As you read along with the story of Charlie Brown and friends the buttons along the right side play various voices and music pieces bringing the book to life and reminding the reader of the animated special. I have already read through it twice since Christmas, clicking on every button when prompted by an image on the appropriate page. I haven't picked it up for at least two weeks.

:tree: A few nights ago, O'Malley the cat was stretched out on the coffee table and he was sniffing my Peanuts book. Guess he's like me that way - nothing beats the smell of a new book! He touched one of the buttons during this inquiry process and it activitated the sound of music when Charlie Brown exits the rehearsal carrying his "special tree". O'Malley was intrigued by what he did.

You can read more about that in my update on O'Malley the Cat's blog titled A Charlie Brown Christmas CAT.

:snowball: I felt guilty heading back to work after lunch yesterday because there is a mountain of snow on the ground and big flakes were falling again and I could hardly find the steps or the cedar and small pines along the walkway and all I could think of was my friends who never have snow and those who dream of celebrating Christmas in a snow covered winter town like we see in so many Christmas films. (Wow, that's a very long sentence.)There I was being thankful for the snow and hoping the skies will be blue enough, but not too mild as to melt the snow atop the trees, yet afford me the chance to finally get out there and snap some photos.

Attempts will be made this afternoon and tomorrow. Hope it's a successful mission!

Have a great weekend and keep a merry thought in your head!

Good saturday morning everyone! I am trying to decide what exactly to do today. I need to clean the kitchen first of all as soon as I wake up enough to tackle it. Then I think Im going to go for an afternoon jogg out at the park because it is going to reach the upper 60's today. Other than that I don't know! hope everyone has a good saturday!

Your welcome! I have been there but for some reason cannot find it back again. What area is it posted in???? (Got there through a link here before.)
I was having the same problem then realize that if you go onto your own profile it is listed on the right side of your profile under, "Social Groups". That has a list of all the groups you have joined.

I am like you and cannot find it listed on the forums itself.

Good Morning MMC !

Snowing here again this morning. Going off to do some shopping with my mom and daughter...ladies day out!

Hope you all have a fantastic day. cheesy

Been gone since Wednesday because of work and ballgames, but I'm trying to work on catching up. Got duty again tomorrow as we make up a game that we missed due to snow.

I'll be around on the boards...see you in a little bit....
Good to see you and like Christmasstar says, "don't forget to have fun"! =)
My Smokey is so lonely now that he is the only feline
I am so sorry to hear! How old is Smokey? Why I ask is maybe you could adopt another cat about his age. If he is a senior kitty you probably don't want a little kitten. The kitten would wear him down. It happened to my parents after they lost Dudley who was 17 years old then had Binky age 15. They got a kitten and he drove her NUTS! Way too playful for her. There are so many older cats who DESPERATELY need to be adopted. It would be good for Smokey if you were able to get one.

I hope your laptop gets well soon !!! I go crazy without mine !!
Thanks! You're so sweet!

I am going crazy without my laptop! At least it's the weekend when I am super busy so it won't matter as much.

You said that 4 letter word again (snow), hopefully you get it and we don't.
SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!! cheesy

I have been wanting to train on running. I have been into physical fitness most my life then became ill and set me back quite a bit. I am feeling really good these days and I am attempting to step it up a notch on my treadmill. My brother competes all the time in 3k and 5k races and usually places first and second in his age category. (49 years old). I plan to join him someday. I might finish dead last but I want to say, "I did it"!!!

The weird thing is, I had a dream last night I took off running and running and running. In the dream I felt great and not too much out of breath. I have to make that a reality! cheesy

Enjoy your jog and have a great day!

I am so happy for you! I think it will be great to fulfill that dream of yours! You can come to Arlington, Texas and check out the Christmas Store here by us. It's not like Bronners but it's really nice! In fact, look at my one and only blog. I have the video of the Christmas Store we visit. You might be able to get some ideas on it. They have a seasonal section as you will see. At the time it was Halloween.

I pray you get better soon!

Oh it's going to be one of THOSE days today? my big dog snow ball just threw up after he went back into my bedroom..I guess doing it outside while he was just out there for 30 minutes would have been too easy. I guess he could not help it...now to clean that up..I have a weak stomach. I may not be back folks...

Breath through your mouth while cleaning it up, Gabulldawg - you won't smell a thing!

And with that odiferous thought, Good Morning, Christmas Comrades!

Ah!
Another weekend is here and rolling with bright sunny skies and calm winds here in Raleigh at this hour.
It's cold again, though, where we again started out in the upper 20's.
It is 30 as I type this.
The weather service says we have a shot at 60 by this afternoon. (Wow! I didn't think thermometers could read that high any more.)

On with the count as on it moves:
Days to the Season: 288
Days to Christmas Day: 330
Two weeks from this very date, my friends, February 12th - the 25 percent Season Milestone will be here!

You have a Simply Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
Keep that Christmas song in your heart and may the spirit of the Season be with you as you enjoy this glorious weekend.

I have totally not been consistant this winter. I still wieght train 3 days a week.but I love jogging better. I go in the wood trails at the park because they are peaceful and quiet and it's always my 'alone time' to get my head together. but as I always do in the winter I go one day here and there, then stop for a week or two. but when it warms up during the spring and summer and through the fall I go 6 days a week. The good thing about jogging is that you biuld up so fast, within a week or two you can add on five minutes of time pretty easy. good luck you can do it!

I am finally able to get on here. I sure hope they fix my wife's laptop quickly.cheesy Just kidding, we share this computer when her laptop is in the shop, I don't mind at all. Hoe everyone is doing well and have a great weekend.

I saw that Seawaters was talking about some bad days at school. Well I always felt the most unappreciated job in the world is being a teacher. I have the utmost respect for teachers and feel they are very underpaid. I feel the same about police and firefighters. I think the priorities in this world are back wards, the wrong people make all the money. Entertainers and athletes get way overpaid, and people that serve the community in much more important ways are underpaid. Just my 2 cents, I mean I love sports and movies and stuff, just think the money they are paid is outrageous.
