Let it snow - Let it snow - Let it snow !! You know what they say if you cant beat em join em I cant beat mother nature !!!!! more shoveling cant wait !!!!! ugh!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is an icy morning here in central Indy. We have at least a half inch of ice so far and another inch is expected this afternoon. There are about 12,000 people without power so far and hopefully it doesn't get any worse. Mom decided to stay home from work thankfully. They are saying that the main roads are passable but that is going to change once the second wave hits. Well I am going to go outside and put down some salt and work on getting my truck and mom's car cleaned off. I hope everyone stays safe and has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's February!!! January always seems like FOREVER from the Christmas season, but now that's behind us.

It's also first Tuesday in the month, which means family-night supper with my inlaws. My wife is the youngest of 6 children, so it's a big event when everyone brings their own families. :family:

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

I love Jayish! cheesy

Are you feeling better today, CAH?

Good morning ... well I got the day off from work thanks to Mother Nature... sleet and freezing rain makes for some slick roadways over by my job. Not so bad where I live though. Schools here are opened so our daughter went to school today. Hubby leaving for work in a little bit which leaves me and our little guy home today. Going to get some stuff done around here and then watch a Christmas movie this afternoon. Just put a roast in the crock pot for tonights dinner.

I have been in a major Christmas mode since Sunday so maybe we will watch more then 1 Christmas movie today while I work on my Christmas notebook.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow this morning! I LOVE IT! Schools have closed and it's making headline news. I am sure the Packer and Steeler fans who have already arrived here in Dallas are laughing at us over all the media attention this is getting. That is all they have been talking about on the news, as we speak, for the past several hours. The snow has barely covered the grass but there is ice on the roads. Big news for us!

My daughter is a college teacher and my son attends her school so they both have the day off. I am glad they don't have to get out in this mess.

I am not too thrilled about Wayne having to drive in this mess to work but at least he is from Maryland and knows what to expect. My brother is a UPS driver so I do worry about him. He has to drive all day long. :-?

Probably safest place to be.
Yes! I agree! After watching all the coverage on all the activities taking place during the Super Bowl and surrounding areas, I think I would rather be home. The security is in high alert but the massive traffic expected makes me a bit nervous. Some Packers and Steelers fans have arrived without a Super Bowl ticket just to hang out in the area at local restaurants and other activities. We have a lot of people here!

No place like home! cheesy

ENJOY your snow!!!!

I have so much catching up to do on here but starving for breakfast!!!

I will be back on shortly to catch up.

Have a fantastic day if you are off to work. Be super careful if the weather is bad.

Oh yeah....I love Jayish!!!

I know what you mean, I got the roof semi-cleared and took down all the icicles on my house, but I have never seen icicles like this before there is one house a mile away the whole front of the house is covered with 8 foot icicles, we taught JP NEVER stand under icicles, if they fall could hurt you or worse.
And as we all know, "those icicles have been known to kill people!"

And with that cold thought -- Good Morning, my iced-in friends!

Yes, the weather outside is frightful in many parts of the country today, but the "fire" here is so delightful!
<< Just how delightful is it, Crown? >>
OK, I'll tell you:
Days to the Season: 285
Days to Christmas Day: 327
SINGLE DIGITS until the one-quarter Season mark the day after tomorrow!
(Now that's REALLY delightful!)

No nasty weather here in NC to speak of at the moment although we are back in the 30's this morning.
Yesterday, the weather service said we were supposed to reach into the 50's for a high today but now they've backed it off into the upper 40's.
Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow as well.

You have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

The bad weather has started here. The roads are an icy nasty mess and all the schools are closed.

Schools might close, but I have to go to work. I don't worry so much about my driving, it's more the Texas drivers who have enough problems driving when it is sunny and dry. I have seen more accidents since moving here then I saw my whole life in Maryland.

Good morning Christmas friends. It will be another warm day here in northern California. I hope you all enjoy your day.

Well maybe sticking my head on a chopping block but noticed something of late on here that semi bothers me. I do enjoy seeing many different people post on here, what all are up to, sharing thoughts and so on. And I like seeing a record number of members doing so. But if it’s just numbers we want then I can sit here and post nothing but three or four words or tell a story three words at a time all night long and get us to maybe even 5000 mark. If I had got busy half an hour ago could easily have gotten us to 4000 for January.

To me it is all about the quality of the conversation in the posts not the number of posts.

Maybe as well I am all wrong. Setting records is nice as well but sometimes in setting records the overall objective is lost.

Just saying what is on my mind is all and something I have notice past week or so.

Well I agree with the super one. Some posts JUST to get the count up with nothing in it kinda diminish it. LOL. Oh well. Its Tuesday! Our storm will be hitting this evening with 30cm or more dumped on us. I LOVE IT! Ill have to play some Christmas music on the way home for everyone. Ill play it loud ok? hah. William went to bed nice and quick last night for a change. He was sleeping by a quarter to nine. I played a bit of World of Warcraft as well. I have to figure out how to make folders to add my Christmas music to my ipod touch. Anyone know how to do that in Itunes? Have a merry snowy day everyone!
