my sister is in a town just north of LA looking into a job at a univeristy. Nice to know there is nice weather there for her to enjoy!
I am both!
Just got my truckers licence so that I could drive for a couple of years and then hope to go to pastry arts school and then open my own cake shop.
I'm bored! (but don't let my kids know because whenever they say that I find a job for them to do and I do not feel like working right now!)

Long crazy day at work today, extremely busy between people stocking up for the snowstorm expected tomorrow, Super Bowl party prepping. I am very tired did not stop at all. The building was checked out today it is structurally sound so no worries there. Back to work for 9am tomorrow. For the last time I counted the lights on the way home and surprisingly I counted 11 on February 4 I am shocked the count is still in double digits.

Well glad to hear the building is ok at work. No lights here any more it seems. I turned mine off last Sunday night and didn't see any Monday night when I went out.
Good Morning Christmas friends! it actually got warmer overnight.lol it was 45F and raining when I went to bed at 9 last night at 530 this morning it was still raining at 50F,I have not checked to see if it will still be snowing next thursday where I will be working weds,and thurs I am almost afraid to look. Other than that not much at all planned for today,one thing i won't be doing is anything outside,it's going to be another murky day. Going to be nice tomorrow on superbowl sunday though! I hope every has a great sat!

Beautiful sunny morning here! Only -12c, but the sun coming through the window is nice and warm.
Supposed to go to Port Huron today, but have still not heard back from my friend who wanted me to go with her, so not sure if we are still going.
If not I will get some stuff done here instead.

Good morning Christmas Family !!!
A chilly cold morning here but not as bad as it has been !! I am nice and warm on my chez lounge in my room with my laptop as I type. My new job went pretty well the first 2 days. I am already near the line count I am supposed to be at so it is encouraging. I think it is just always hard to start over again no matter if it is doing the same thing for a different company or if it is doing something completely different. Then there is always that transition period between the old and new where paychecks don't seem to "mesh." I listened to The Christmas Song by Nat and it calmed me right down and once again as always when I hear it I was 8 years old again with no worries at all. I don't work again until Monday evening at 11 p.m. and that will be my permanent shift every Sunday through Thursday.
I hope all are well. Made I hope you and your mom stay feeling good. Christmas A Holic I hope your pipe problems get solved, what a pain and a mess. Xmas365 I am glad your building at work is okay.
I hope everyone who has been feeling under the weather feel well soon. I have kind of a "stomach" thing this morning but mine is because I haven't eaten red meat for 22 years and I had something that had lard in it last evening which my body does not know how to take care of any more !! But it will be better soon I am sure.

I talked to my neighbor yesterday and she was having the same issue in one of her bathrooms. She didn't mess with it for over 48 hours then yesterday she propped up a hair dryer under the sink inside her house for 1 hour. She said the water started flowing. I didn't think it would work but it did. I guess after an hour it finally heated up the whole pipe. I agree it would be faster with the method you speak of. I cannot find an outside pipe! I think maybe in the walls or underground? I still haven't done anything but today will be above freezing with sun so maybe it will start running again. cheesy
