I LOVE JJJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAyish!
That was my best singing soprano voice (which isn't meant to be a singing voice)!
That was a duet with me and Carl...as we are having a blast at the pines...that crazy camel spiked my coffee.....AGAIN!!!! He told me that is what happened to Dale Jr. today when he wrecked his race car that was supposed to start from the pole!!!! AGH!!
I still drive by a house that has their tree up and on displayed in a window. I love seeing it every night.
Hi glad to see you you came by today.Hello all
All of you who are sporting: that's great! I am really proud! Keep up the good work!
CAH you are not boring me at all! I am interested to hear how you are doing, i think we all are, we are rooting for you to feel better!
********
We are extremely busy going to the realtor, the project manager, picking out tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, deciding on this that... combining it with working is proving not to be easy!but I love my job!
And I love working on the house, so I just have to find energy somewhere...
About Bullying:
This is a really grave problem, as I think it shows the problems with entire generations of people who do not learn how to behave and respect each other at a young age and I am afraid they never will. But I am not an education expert, I don't have children, so I can only tell from what I notice from the streets.
I have never been in a bullying environment, so I don't think that every school (let alone every parent) is drifting to that direction. I don't think entire generations are to blame, and I am even sure it's not a recent development. I do however think that lots of parents and teachers are not as strict as they used to be any more, at least that's a trend I notice here, which doesn't help teaching misbehaving children how they should behave.
I do have lots of respect for people that have to deal with it on a daily basis, like teachers or people that have been bullied in the past. I know they 'what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger', but it's not always true, I think that you don't always have to get stronger. I always like to think that every thing I go trough no matter how hard or awful it is (like studying Chinese) is just an other lesson that I learn to shape my soul and my character, I know this painful experience in your pasts has shaped your personalities beautifully!
Good late afternoon everyone! Just got through eating dinner, and I think I am going to call it an early evening. it seriously feels like spring here,I fully expect the trees to start blooming very soon which is way too early im afraid we will get another hard freeze and kill the blooms.Last year it was late march before they bloomed. I hope everyone has a great night, and very soon we will be into the 200's on the countdown.
Guess what?????
I have my laptop back, FINALLY!!! It has been gone since February 5th being repaired. Now my evenings can be extra lazy. I can lay in bed catching up on computer time before I go to sleep. cheesy
Right now the grandkids are here so I will be back later to catch up on the post I missed today.
She is so sweet and so alert for someone who is barely 24 hours old! Looking around already, and what a grip! Loved visiting and getting to hold her for awhile. new babies smell so nice. cheesy
I have seen a few houses around town with lights still up. Getting fewer everyday. now with the snow melting, I am sure people will be taking them down too.
Today I got on the treadmill and working on week 2 of the Couch to 5k program. I really wasn't feeling that great but PUSHED myself to finish the whole 30 minutes. Now I am glad I did because I feel better now than when I first woke up.
Sorry that I might be boring some with my updates. It just really helps if I can post about it. It keeps me going. I thought about joining a runners forums to share with but you all feel like family to me so I hope you don't mind. I might get into a running forum soon. This will be a HUGE accomplishment for me if I get it done! Just think, when I get this program done we are that much closer to Christmas!!! cheesy I will keep my updates to a minimum. Thanks for letting me share with you all. (((hugs)))
Last wednesday the high was 19 degrees. Today it is 60 and I have the ceiling fan on. We sure are having one crazy winter.
I agree that it's been a crazy winter. We're supposed to have temps in the 50's for the next few days, followed by a forecast for 70 degrees on Friday, which is extremely warm for February. I have to say, though, that I'm thankful we aren't having the amount of snow we had this time last year.
My work day is ovahh praise God! what a day.I'm about to head to the gym on base, then go pick up dinner and relax the rest of the day! hope everyone is having a wonderful day! and yes this is a crazy winter...it feels like april here and by fri. or sat. we are going to be in the upper 70's pushing 80! unreal after the records we have been breaking here this winter with cold weather!
