Good evening, everyone. I have some work to do and then watch some TV. San Francisco is supposed to get snow, too, the first since 1976!!! There may be some snow even in LA! Just as long as we get some, I don't care!!! I hope y'all have a great evening. Talk to you tomorrow!
That snow prediction in San Francisco is making news here!
Welp a quite night around here. Winter returns tomorrow have the advisory already in place. Well gas prices going through the roof now guess. I will do my part and stay home all weekend. Not letting them have anymore of my hard earned dollars than necessary.
Here is a good friend of mines spot on YouTube second week he has done it.

Little rough but learning, little harder being in front of a camera rather being in front of a mic in the studio.
He does good in front of a camera! I would just stand there stuttering. cheesy
Our little guy woke up really early this morning with a fever. Gave him some meds and that helped to bring his fever down. Poor little guy.. you could tell he was not feeling well.
I hope he gets well soon!

Yesterday was the first day I have felt well in over a week. Now my hubby is getting sick again! He has not woke up yet so I hope he is feeling better today.

I hope you all have a great day!

Hope you all get to feeling better again really soon!. The flu is still going around here bad. I have done everything short of going to work with a mask on and so far so good!

Good Thursday morning everyone! it is 52F here and rather cloudy which is good. It has been sunny for the last 10-12 days and Im ready for a gloomy day. I think it is just low clouds though that will burn off after the sun gets up really good. It is snowing 12 inches where my mom and dad live outside Portland,or. THey do usually get a dusting a few times a year, and even thanksgiving this year when I was there they had probably half an inch on the ground, but that too is rare. but this is like a once in a hundred year storm there. My mom and dad are like me and love stormy weird weather. they actually always drive to the coast on the beach when a western storm comes ashore and checks into a hotel, and there is some time of year out there that storms hit the northeast left and right! but I think they are staying home for this one I just wish I could out there because 12 inches is alot, and in the 12 years they have lived there nothing like that has come close to happening. Hope everyone has a great day,I think it will be a slow day at work.

Good morning to all! One more day until Friday and February's Rudolph Day.

Hope everyone had a great visit to the Pines....

I had tea instead of coffee, so I didn't find out ... did Carl introduce his school-paste blend? The fired Twinkie filling escaped his creativity with that ingredient.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm a bit under the weather today and I didn't sleep much last night, but I'm not gonna give in to it! Like gabulldawg said, it's overcast this morning, but it should clear up and warm up inot the mid 70's today. Nice!

All this week the local news has been doing segments on businesses in our town. Tonight they are featuring my father-in-law's store! I have the VCR all warmed up and looking forward to it!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Forgot to mention---there are still two decorated outdoor trees on my route home from work, a very tall one and a very little one. They are a few miles apart, but they both have the same sort of LED lights on their branches, so they look alike! I really enjoy seeing them after my workday. :sparkle:A few homes that are farther back from the road still have Christmas lights up and shining. Soon, though, as sunset gets later, it won't be dark enough to see the lights on my way home. That's okay too, because it means a warmer, sunnier season is on the way!

Good Morning, my downhill-slope-to-the-Weekend Friends!

Yes, the summit has been crossed and the short end of the work week is upon us.

In that upbeat mood, let's move right on to the daily count:
Days to the Season: 262
Days to Christmas Day: 304
Closing in on Milestone #3 now.
Barely over half a week away from the 300-day Christmas Day marker arriving on the last day of February.
So the 1st will see us to a new month - the first month of Spring - and will see us down to a double-200's count.
Now that's really something to feel upbeat about!

Chilly here again where we stand at 42 degrees under a muted sun.
There is an 80 percent chance of rain both tonight and tomorrow and we can really use the moisture as central NC is under drought/wildfire danger conditions.

Well, be you wet or be you dry, have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks.
(Hey! Guess what? -- It's Weekend Eve tomorrow!)

I don't know, Merry. You'll have to ask Bing. They are the only one who dared try it yesterday.
(It did seem like they were smacking their lips more than usual after having a few cups. But then they often do that so perhaps it's not a clue.)

I liked his t-shirt! (is he Canadian?)
Not my taste in comedy however.

I forgot to mention that I read this morning in the Altanta Journal Constitution that gas prices could be at 7 bucks to even 10 bucks a gallon by the end of the year. My personal opinion is not that high but I can see maybe 5$ a gallon. But even then that will really affect How I drive! and it would be pushing 100 bucks to fill up a honda accord? Where I live gas is below the national average but last week it was 2.97 this morning it was 3.13 so that shows how fast it is going up. and on that uplifting note I will sign off!;)

Good Morning MMC !

snowing lightly here this morning, but at least it is not so cold.

Practicing on my tests for Monday (stepping up 12" for 1 min) & crouching 10x's etc. I can do it all, just want to make sure the old ticker does not go to fast!

Have a fantastic day!cheesy

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is chilly with a gray overcast here in northern California. If I see any kids outside today, I will have to smell their hair. You did know, didn't you, that the smell of snow is in the hair? Really! That is not a play-on-words joke. My mom seemed to predict it by giving us a kiss on top of our heads and tell us that the smell of snow was in our hair. I later heard that on a movie, too! It is little breezy here right now. Snow is supposed to start tonight. I am going to stay up as late as I can. I hope everyone has a great day!
