If anyone is interested we didn't reach post 6,700 until July 15 last year which coincidentally was made by Made.
And with this post, Made posted the 6,700th post of the countdown! Congratulations. Someone beat you to the prize of a brand new radiator, but hopefully your prize of a burned out light bulb will console you!
Friends, just getting in from the ballgame.....going to sleep. See everyone in the morning!
I am waiting on my bedsheets to dry then I am going to bed. I got the results back from my dogs allergy test FINALLY after weeks of waiting, and I go in tomorrow afternoon to discuss it further...basically over the phone he told me she is allergic to the following:ragweed, dust mites,turkey,rice,chicken...and we will have to start giving her shots but that is after they teach me how to first!anyhow it has been a long day and I am worn out. I hope everyone is doing good here! have a great night all!
Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It was a warm day here in central Indy but a cold front is moving through now and the temp is dropping fast. I had to babysit most of the day and my youngest niece is definitely going through a clingy stage. She cries everytime her mom leaves. If the weather isn't to bad tomorrow I am hoping to put a new radiator in my truck so I can see how bad I hurt the engine when I overheated it. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
I didn't realize dogs had allergies like we do.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!cheesy
I didn't even notice that I broke 20,000.
Seawaters what is the prize for 6700??????
GA....I have three dogs....two that are really big dogs and they both have allergies. I know exactly what you are talking about when you discuss the chewing. It gets awful here sometimes. One will chew the hair off of one leg, the base of his tail, and the end of the tail before we know it. Really sad.
The other dog has ear allergies. Neither is that bad, it's something that we can control with minimal effort. Loading them into the car and taking them to the vet doesn't involve me....it's me and the wife and both our cars. When they get to the vet, the female gets sooooo scared and I have to stay with her and the male (who is 170 pds) just wants to love everyones leg. So embarrassing, but as soon as I leave I laugh so hard. I don't have any kids.....so they are mine....and I love those babies.
Yesterday was phenomenally beautiful. Mid 70's, slight breeze...just great! Today...48..WHAT??? Yes, 48. No yardwork today! Guess I will do house work...maybe not.
Have a good day, friends!
Good morning, Christmas friends. It is rainy, WINDY, and a chilly 43 degrees here in northern California. Winds are blowing around 30 mph with gusting to 60 mph. I was supposed to go to PT in Chico (45 minutes away, normally), but we also have heavy flooding so I would have to take a circuitous route, adding about half an hour to the trip. I guess March came in like a lamb and is going out like a lion!! Every once in a blue moon we get weather this bad and the schools have been closed due to flooding in the country and no way for LOTS of the kids to get in. So, while we might not get snow days, we do get flood days. Of course, I would rather play in the snow than in the flood!!! I hope everyone has a great day. I have really been smiling about all the dog/vet stories. Our cat pitifully mews all the way to the vet. We have to take her in a cat traveling box or she would be all over the car! Take care, no matter the weather!
Thank you, MaureenHey KerWa!
Great to see you - hope you'll enjoy our little slice of Christmas on the 'net!! I've started a new thread for you in Introductions entitled "Hi Everybody" so you can hear from a whole lot of festive fanatics like yourself

Enjoy your dvd's!Goooooooood evening fellow Noel'ers,
I am tired and wired at the same time, winding down from work just to be up and at em at 5:30. I have hit the "jackpot" on a few Christmas dvd's the last couple weeks, I bought Home Alone 2 for $5 at Walmart, I won Santa Claus: The Movie 25th anniversary edition for $4.99, and Disney's Christmas Carol for 5.99 on Ebay. Pretty good luck for the second year in a row at this time of year for cheap Christmas dvd's. I am getting psyched for a BIG hockey game tomorrow night Bruins vs Canadiens, I cannot wait.
Have a great night!
It's 82° and windy here in south GA.Yesterday we had a high of 75 degrees. Today it is 32 degrees with a mixture of sleet and snow coming down. I just love spring in Indiana.
I have tomorrow off! We are going down to Windsor tomorrow.
In 9 months it will be CHRISTMAS EVE!
