Home for awhile, nice to have a soft bed to sleep in again.
Things went much better yesterday, my instructor said if I drive like that for my test i will pass with no problem.

That is so childish and RIDICULOU that you got slammed for liking Adam. I personally LOVE Adam. The kid has it together in my book. He made every single song HIS.

I have no problem when people just said they don't like Adam's singing. That is fine but this turned into name calling. Even some of the Adam Lambert fans were bashing people who didn't like Adam and vice versa. Some would say that if you like "so and so" that you obviously have no good taste in music and you're ignorant. A lot of cussing matches going on and still going on when you get involved in American Idol talk. No thank you, not for me! It's funny that you don't see this kind of trash talk between the contestants, just some of the fans talk that way. lol

Hi everybody; hope you're all having a good weekend so far. I can't believe it, but we're supposed to have snow here tomorrow. I thought it was a little late in the year, but my Mom keeps talking about the year we had snow on Palm Sunday, so I guess it's not too late after all. I'm always ready for snow!

Good afternoon,I am channel surfing and am wondering why I pay for movie channels that are showing the same thing every 3 hours. "Twister" is on,and for laughs I thought I would watch it. Does anyone remember when that movie came out in 1996? for the time it was an amazing theatre expierience(.ie cow flying through the air etc) etc. looking at it now it kind of looks cheesy and I am also wondering what ever happened to helen hunt!. Certain movies age faster than others and "twister" has aged fast. The weather is muggy and kind of rainy but still waiting for the "big one" we are still under a tornado watch basically all weekend.

She has disappeared for a while now hasn't she.

WOW!! I haven't been by yet this year - been going through a bit of a rough patch and not so much in the Christmas spirit for quite some time, but got the itch yesterday and thought I'd stop in. Already at 6825+ posts for just March!!! Incredible!!

We had a little snow in St. Louis yesterday and we're expecting 2-5" tonight again. I didn't have a very good Christmas season this last year, so yesterday was kind of my opportunity to enjoy it finally. Got a peppermint white chocolate mocha, watched the snow and listened to Christmas music. It was so nice and so now I'm in the mood.

This morning my daughter came running into me and was yelling, "Mama! Look what Santa brought me! Thank you Santa!!!" She had found a set of Barbie's hidden in her closet somewhere and is convinced that Santa brought it to her. I honestly have NO idea where it came from or when I would have gotten it for her LOL. Maybe Santa did sneak in for a little Christmas in March...

So, onward we go in the journey to Christmas!

That is so sad! It's just a singing competition. I never understood how people take it so personally just because you like or dislike someones singing. They personally attack each other over singing??? Wow! I never joined the official American Idol site, this one was on CafeMom site. Yes, these are moms acting this way. We teach our children to be nice to one another but moms go off on each other. Actually the whole site acts this way no matter what forum you join there. I never argued back, I just gave up going there altogether.

By the way, I love this site! MMC is great! Just goes to show Christmas people are nice. :wink:

Good evening, Christmas family.

Getting ready to settle in this evening for one more night of sleep.

Feeling a bit old here. So William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy are BOTH NOW 80 !!!! OMG ..........I can't believe it !!

I am going to watch one of my all time favorite movies, Jesus Christ Superstar tonight. I really love this movie, Ted Neeley as Jesus was wonderful and Carl Anderson as Judas, what a voice this man had. I just really like the movie because to me it depicts a really human side of Jesus, which makes me feel better. Knowing that He knows, really knows what is is to be truly human is a comfort to me. Besides, I guess I am just weird, I like thinking about Him.

My 13-year-old Wishbone is curled up beside me. Clancy is on "her" couch under "her"blanket and cray Smokey is quiet for now. He will probably come in around 3 a.m. on his night patrol and wake me. That is the time he visits when I am working.

Well it looks like we are not going to get any snow. This morning they were saying 3 inches but it has stayed about 60 miles south of us all day. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!! Goodnight!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry for my absence over the last few days...I am now in Florida with my best friend and her fiance, and I've been so on-the-go that I haven't been able to sit down and visit the forum since Thursday! I actually haven't been able to read through the last bunch of pages since my last post, so if anything super important happened, please let me know!!

My flight on Friday was good...no turbulence or anything, and the people I sat next to were great! Always makes flights go better if you like the people you sit near! I only got a few hours sleep (less than 5) last night, since it took us over two hours to get to their place from the airport.

Today, we woke up at 6am and went to MegaCon, a huge comics/semi-sci fi convention in Orlando. For someone like me who really isn't into comics all that much, and only went to see William Shatner and a handful of cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation, I was a little out of my league. But it was still a lot of fun, I have great photos, and I also bought a navy blue wig. Why? I'm still not sure, but maybe I can make a Halloween costume around it! LOL

I am literally about to pass out now, so I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and I'll hopefully be back a few times this week just to check in! =)
