I worked for the company for about 3 years before anyone could convince me to try chicken for breakfast LOL! Once I did, though, there was no turning back!!! Love it :) Some of the yummiest food out there and I still eat it every day by choice - even after 14 years of working there!

Chicken minis for breakfast are heavenly!! The bread is so good......

Good evening,

The boys had their swim class tonight, JP is swimming on his own, they had him swim about 10 feet from the wall to the instructor, and back. I am so proud, and he had the biggest smile after doing it. LC is listening and doing what he is supposed to for a 3 y/o, getting an ear wet, back of head wet, etc...
My Bruins lead 3-0 right now, so I am happy right now.
I forgot what the commercial was for I saw today, but the song playing through the whole commercial was "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by Andy Williams, of course I had to stop what I was doing and listen. I love hearing unexpected Christmas music during the "off-season."

Have a great night!

We like Chik-Fil-A, too. You gotta respect a company that closes on Sunday to give its employees an opportunity to rest and worship.

I don't usually work on Sundays, but I wish more companies would do that and close for a day.
I know one of the legislator's in the state house up here in Mass. has put a bill forward to have everything closed on Memorial Day as a way to pay respect to our Veterans. He feels people have forgotten what Memorial Day is about. I hope it passes, but I am sure the almighty dollar will win out in the end.

I'm sitting here watching "the first 48" on A&E channel and double checking the lock on my door!! and they are having a marathon it comes on all night. me and the dogs are settled in for the night. snowball(bulldog) has squeezed under the bed and snoring, and pookie(dashund) is nestled up beside me. later on tonight snowball will bark that means look out he wants to jump on the bed. i guess he barks as a warning to let pookie know to get out of the way because she will attack if you mess with her while she is catching some zzzz's...well goodnight everyone talk to you all in the morning!

I forgot to add. My dog is allergic to cats..I don't even have cats! she is allergic to mold and cats the most..Only thing I can think of is maybe some people had cats that lived here before me. I don't know but he has ordered 5 months worth of allergy shots and next week I go in to learn how to give my baby shots. I will have to give them to her every other day at first, then taper off until I only have to give her one a week or two. I bet once she see's the needle I will have to pry her out from under my bed.:(
Wow... Even allergic to cats? So many allergies. Poor baby. Sounds about like me with all those allergies!

I don't know if you saw it but I did respond to your post regarding the cost of dog food dogs being like children. We posted about the same time so you might have missed it. I wanted you to see the comparison of dogs vs. children. lol.

That is great! So glad to hear he is doing well! cheesy

You are right, dogs are like having kids but you don't have to worry about them hanging around the wrong crowd, back talking you or getting calls from school that they are not doing their school work. Dogs also think you are perfect 24/7. Human kids go through stages that mom and dad don't know anything and not so perfect.

I LOVE my doggies!

LMAO! uh I mean LOL! you have great points there CAH.That is the thing I like best about my dogs...I am always thier hero and they are soooo happy to see me every night!cheesy

And MerryCarey I agree... Tuesdays seem to be a really long day sometimes!!! Today is one of them! Can't wait to go home & put on sweats!

I'm laughing, 'cause here I am sitting in sweats!

On another note, I found out this evening that a family friend of ours committed suicide. I'm just at a loss of how to deal with this. She is probably 5 years younger than me and has always been so full of life. Her parents played a major role in my life growing up and as a young married couple. I can't imagine the pain that they are feeling right now. Please pray for this family, if you don't mind.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, Laney. They will be in my prayers.

My DD is 3 and I'm thinking about getting her into a swim class this summer. She could dog paddle around pretty well last summer with floaties on. What do they do with the young ones in the class they are in?

My sister always laughs at me when I say something about "what others refer to as 'the off season.'" Around here, Andy Williams singing that song is usually a commercial for Branson, MO LOL, but its a little early in the year for those commercials to hit the air! Glad you got a little Christmas joy!

When we lived in our first apartment, it didn't have one, we actually bought one of the portable ones. We still have it 7 years later and it works great, wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have looked into getting one before but i never could convince myself to buy it. I also already have a small chest freezer and a portable dryer in the kitchen so that doesn't leave any wall space to put it up against when I am not using it.

That is one of the main reasons I try to always shop at Hobby Lobby instead of any other craft store.

It's just a lot of basic things, getting them to relax to float on their backs while being held in the water, kicking while holding the wall, jumping in while being held, getting their faces, heads wet. A lot of listening for the kids, patience for the instructors.

Hope everyone had a good day....I haven't got read much of the boards today because I had a long day...but I will catch up tomorrow. Going to sleep tonight to the sounds of raindrops hitting the ceiling and some thunder. I love sleeping to rain...relaxing.

See everyone at the Pines tomorrow!

My mom loves that show. I could do without some of the graphic scenes.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain. My niece committed suicide at age 25. It is SO HARD to deal with.

Hey everyone! Its been a long, cold and generally yucky day today. Made some progress on the new store today and passed health inspections and fire inspections. 2 more inspections to go and we get possession of the building on Friday! Woo hoo! Life is going to get real crazy starting next week until we open on the 14th (and the next month after that LOL).

They're still talking about possibility of snow tonight. Its just raining for now, so I'm holding out hope that it doesn't get cold enough to switch to snow.

We had people out yesterday and today to see about remodeling our bathroom. We just got our money back from Uncle Sam and hope that the bids come in with in our price range. It will be so nice to finally have a new bath - we've wanted to do it since we bought the house 6 years ago! Eventually we'll get the house to how we dreamed it when we bought it. But by then, it will probably be time to move LOL. That's how it usually works, right??!

Of those you mentioned, the only ones we have are Jack-in-the-Box and Sonic! I feel deprived, too!

I can't remember what it was I had, but it intrigued me enough to try it for breakfast.
It is also amazing the different fast food chains that were down in N.C. compared to up here. We don't have Jack In The Box, Steak & Shake, Waffle House, Sonic, Chick fil a, Bojangles, just to name a few. I feel deprived. :-?
