Hey everybody. Just wanted to drop in & say hi (now that it's almost tomorrow...lol) We went to see The Adjustment Bureau tonight. Was really good. It wasn't what I was expecting - edge of your seat kind of movie.

Today is one of my favorite holidays! Cardinals Opening Day!!!! I'm off work and DD is having a playdate with her cousin - look who may be free to head down to some of the rallies?!?!?! This should be an interesting season with Albert being free agent. I love opening day, though! Hope springs eternal at Busch Stadium today - anything is possible and everyone has hopes for the pennant today (well, maybe not the Pirates?). Here's to a great season and the boys of summer!

The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the low 60's today! Still a little chilly at the moment, but I'm looking forward to a glimpse of warmth again.

My nieces and nephews have been asking to have a sleepover soon. I need to start thinking, though, because they will expect there to be cooking making and the like. I apparently set the bar high the first time I had my niece over to bake, and now she thinks that will always be the case LOL. I'm thinking about doing rice krispie treat eggs with them and something else. Anybody have an suggestions?

Noooooooo not a Yankees fan!! As a die hard Braves and BoSox fan (and also a supporter of the Orioles as they are the closest team to my hometown), I must sigh sadly at you. =p But seriously, all in good fun. I respect everyone's teams (unless they beat mine, lol), even the Yankees. My dad, boyfriend, and his entire family are Yankees fans so I'm used to the abuse.

Hello all!

Another late night here in Gainesville (that's what I get for being a night owl, I guess). Today was another productive day...Megan and I finished shopping since we weren't able to get it all in Tuesday, and I actually made out quite well. Spent a little more than I'd planned, and I might return some stuff tomorrow...we shall see how incredibly in debt I end up. I also went and got another suitcase from Kohl's...something I had been thinking about for a while and then realized I needed since I loaded up on cans of boiled peanuts, plus the clothes I bought today, and I can't fit that into any of my carry-on bags or the suitcase I already bought. Sigh. It's a...very colorful suitcase, you could say. =p

I also went with my BFF to her appointment with the guy who will probably be DJing their wedding. I'm very excited...this guy seems really cool and willing to cater to pretty much anything they'd want him to do. We ended the night playing Dance Central with some friends, and all of us nearly dying after every song we performed. We've decided to remedy this by actually going out dancing tomorrow night, also celebrating my last night here before returning to PA.

As much as I've enjoyed being here, I'm definitely ready to return home to my boyfriend, cat, dog, and fish, and to my OWN house. What I'm NOT ready for is working both jobs the day I get back, starting at 7am!!! I didn't get the good end of the bargain on that one at ALL. But...such is life.

Happy 1st of April my christmas friends!! Can you believe we are in April already!!!!!! The christmas season will be on us before we know it!!

Had a horrible day yesterday my partner rang me at 5.45am to tell me he had hit a concrete block that had been dropped in the middle of the road! It was raining really bad so he didnt see it till the last minute, luckily he didnt hit it head on, it hit the side of the car ripping all the bumper off! So glad he wasnt hurt and luckily, and this really shocked us, there is no damage to the engine/radiator/wheel or anything, we just need a new bumper and to get the wheels tracked.

So glad its the start of a new day, the search for a new bumper begins today!!!

gon be leaving for my moms in a minute...then at 5pm we are going down to the hockey pitch (field hockey)....the sport I did and Kandice is playing too ......to watch Bundesliga teams play each other in a tournment. I want to show Kandice what real hockey looks like. I think we gon have a bratwurst or a steak there and a few drinks...so it should be a nice evening.

You can add a Cincinnati Reds fan to the list... And now that our neighbor boy is playing for the Padres, I've become a Padres fan too!! I love baseball season!! Love that opening day means the beginning of warmer weather!!! (hopefully!!!)
