well, hitting the pavement again...maybe I should rephrase that, I already hit the pavement and now I cannot sit right, so I do not want to do that again!
What I mean is, I am handing out resumes again. Dropped one off in hopes of working for the city buses. I love this place I live in and know so many people and my way around well. driving the city bus would be so much fun. Much easier than a big rig, especially when backing!

I was just watching weather channel and it showed heavy gravestones overturned ...that is just unreal,also trees getting de-barked..my mind can't comprehend winds like that. Anyhow I hope everyone has a great night..One more day till the weekend!

I am listening to the scanner at work and they are saying over 600 people in hospitals and the death toll could triple in the next few days. And it is already over 200. Has everyone in the affected areas checked in here? I can't think of anyone who is "missing" from the affected areas.

How horrible, I saw it is over 300 now. My thoughts are with everyone down in those areas right now

So glad for those who have survived this savage weather !! How sad that so many are devastated by either loss of life or property or both. All are in my prayers.

What a frustrating and anxious week !! It started at 3:00 a.m. On Monday when I was working. The server went down at work. I followed protocol but wound up having to call it a night. While I appreciated getting extra sleep it did not add to my ease of mind knowing I was not making the lines I desperately need. The server has gone down for three nights in a row now at 3 a.m...there must be something going on. I am behind so many hours it is totally silly. I just hope that tonight everything stays copesetic !!

Sorry to hear about missing work time, do they allow you to make it up? Since it is not your fault about the servers.

Whoa..did I just see we are almost at the halfway mark of the season? That is AMAZING! Not that busy today at work. Day is going by slow. Its 3pm and I need to make it to 9pm. Anyone get any Christmas magazines lately? Time for me to get back to work, I mean, someone has to right? haha. Have a great day all!

I keep looking for Christmas mags in stores but nothing yet.

Actually they do let us make up the time.......but it is at a different rate per line. At night I get 9 cents a line and if I work in the day it is only 7 cpl. But at least they do let us make it up. I just have so many hours I am down I am not sure I will be physically able to get all of the time in since the end of the pay period is the 30th !!

Glad to see the names of people close to the areas affected by the tornadoes on here. It wasn't to busy at work today but should start picking up for the weekend tomorrow. A lot of happy Bruins fans around the area today, including myself. Can't wait for the 2nd round to start Saturday afternoon.

I think I am about to turn in and hit the sheets guys! I am glad that everyone is safe tonight after these massive storms..I will be almost afraid to turn on the news in the morning to see how many people have lost thier life it really is so sad and is it jus me or does it seem like mother nature is just going crazy lately..Earthquakes...tsunami's...tornadoes...I am not one to really buy the whole global warming thing.but to me it is undeniable that there is climate change going on..at least to me..anywho..have a great night all and talk to you all tommorrow.
