********* BIG MILESTONE DAY!! *********

Good Morning, Christmas Counters and Milestone Markers!

Yes, Folks.
Impossible as it may seem, we have officially arrived at the half way point on our voyage to Christmas Season 2011.
(Seems like such a short time ago the journey began, doesn't it?)
I just can't believe it! Woow!

Good morning everyone! it was not as hard to sleep last night and gf was not sick even once!! which is the first night in at least a week. I hope this morning sickness stuff ends quick. Tomorrow is the day of the first sonogram and first view of baby. at 6 or 7 weeks though you will not see movement, but you will hear heartbeat I am told. At 16 weeks they are doing another one and you will probably be able to tell the gender. I will not be here,I will still be overseas so I told my GF not to tell me when she finds out but when I get home we will watch it together! Have a great morning everyone!
Ultrasounds are great! I used to LOVE to go with Nancy for those!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Congrats to the newest members of the Christmas Crew, too! We are in capable hands, for sure.

I had a working weekend. I wasn't able to do much except work & sleep. Maybe next weekend I can do some FISHING! We finally got the new pool working good and the temperature dropped 15 degrees. LOL! The kids wanted to get in last night, but it was 68 degrees outside. I keep finding dead animals in it. Last week was a big ol' tom cat and last night was a bird. Does that seems strange to anyone else?

Oh well. It's a beautiful day here! I hope you all have a great one! cheesy

Great story Jeff! That belongs in a book.

Good Morning, my Second-Half of the Count Friends.

Yes, indeedy!
We have crested the peak and are heading down the slope to the start of Christmas Season 2011:
Days to the Season: 181
Days to Christmas Day: 223
OK! Our next Milestone can be calculated from the daily count. It's the 200-day Window to Christmas Day and it arrives just 3 weeks from the day after tomorrow, June 8.
(Wow! Both of our counts will then be down into the 100's!)

It's actually SUNNY here this morning for a change, where we have reached 64 degrees on a climb to the mid 70's by this afternoon.
Still lots of potential rain in the forecast at least until Friday.

Have a Marvelous Monday and a Bang-up Begining to the 2nd half of Christmas Season Countdown 2011!

Last year we had snow on the 1st of June. It wasn't much, but it was snow. We haven't had any snow recently and I'm not expecting any. But it has been such a cool spring and our mountains have just been dumped on this year -- more than 700 inches of snow fell up the canyon from us.

They keep talking about epic floods here. And now I know why. Usually at this point I can look up to "my mountains" over my backyard fence and see progress with the snow melting. But it is not going anywhere this year. It is still thick with snow up there.

I've never seen snow this late in the year still up on the mountains. And with another 3 days of rain predicted for us in the valley this week you know up at 10,000 feet they will be getting snow.

Pretty amazing year.

Hello fellow Christmas lovers, it's great to get back and catch up after being away for a bit. So many wonderful stories and good news being shared. Congratulations to Ga and his girlfriend. Wishing you all a wonderful week.

Getting ready to walk out the door for work, man I wish I could crawl back in bed though! !
I felt like that yesterday. I just DID NOT want to get out of bed.

Hey, it's the last week of school here. I've been looking forward to this Monday!

Oh I loved the summer time with my kids when they were little!

Have a Marvelous Monday and a Bang-up Begining to the 2nd half of Christmas Season Countdown 2011!
I love the sound of that, "2nd half". =)

Thanks to everyone for their warm congratulations!

Perfect!!! but instead of a party that your thinking of,maybe I can talk you guys into having a"moving" party because next weekend is when my GF is moving in with me and I can use all the extra hands I can get!!!:snowball:

Practical and efficient idea! If I didn't already have plans for that weekend ... cheesy

Afternoon all :snowball:

Couldn't get on here this morning. Too much traffic :-?:-?

I am taking an early lunch today and eating my tts-Tiny Turkey Sandwhich! If I eat anything more I feel bad,I like to eat my big meal at the end of the day at home. I forget to mention this morning we had a low of 52F while not a record was rare for us in mid may. last year it was may9th when we hit the 50's for the last time until october..tonight we are going to get down to 51F and I am really enjoying it because I know before long it will be hot! Hope everyone's monday is going good!

And with this post, MerryCarey is poster #10,200. For her efforts, here's her prize: Harry Caray singing, guess what?

Quite a weekend---both relaxing and eventful. And now we're halfway to Christmas---I should've known when I woke up last night and the clock said 12:25, and again today when I passed through the kitchen and noticed that the clock said 12:25.

Beautifully said. I love making a couple "visits" here every day to see how my friends are doing, and maybe stick in two cents of my own. Thanks to you guys, there is a guaranteed smile every day.

My first time posting here. Today its raining and cold, which I am very happy about. I have xmas tunes and hot cocoa right now - having a little Christmas fix before summer slams us with heat :)

Welcome to the Countdown Rockchild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheesy
