Okay if the rapture does happen tomorrow(I don't think it will but you never know) I say we all meet at the pearly gates at 2pm on sunday so we can finally meet each other.

I will probably be there closer to 3 pm, I have a few errands to run first.

Okay...you two are making me laugh!!!

Good afternoon, Christmas friends. We have finished with the convention and just visiting with SIL in Madera. I am so exhausted. I didn't sleep well the whole time, but that always seems to happen when we are not home! Again this year, we raised over $3 million dollars for our kids' charity for the California-Hawaii Elks! Hope y'all have a great evening.

Good evening,

Things are going bad at work, I had to talk one of my associates out of quitting today, she has been there for nearly 11 years, and just like me it is so hard to work when you don't have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. One more day and a day off, just watching Dumb & Dumber (one of the funniest movies ever IMO) relaxing before bed.

Have a great night!

Oh my! I'm so sorry things have been bad at work, Xmas. I think laughing is a good thing to take your mind off of things - and Dum & Dumber would do the trick (and I think its one of the funniest movies ever too!)!

I guess you wrote the above last night - and now its Saturday night...so I take it that you have tomorrow off! Enjoy! :???:(This is Santa jumping for joy that you have a day off!)

That has to be Lowndes High, right? I remember when Valdosta High used to win all the titles, but I think LHS won them the entire time I was at VSU! That school is crazy! Their band is huge...we used to help out with them sometimes and they were overwhelming! lol And yes...I remember when Lowndes High and Valdosta High played every year...people go NUTS! My ex used to live at the apartments right by the VHS field...we used to sit in the parking lot and listen to the people go CRAZY. No wonder Valdosta is Titletown, USA what with all the football craziness in that town! :)
Yeah she teaches as LHS...and is this the band you speak of?

it only has 500 members! At first I thought they were a college band when I saw them..of course they sound better in person..but I always LOVED how they start and end each halftime performance with the song "bridge over troubled waters" back in the 6o's Lowndes High school was built when segregation ended and the black and white students went to the new school and they decided that would be thier bands anthem...cheesy

I forgot to tell you that I bought a new purse at the hotel. I took a picture and will try to upload it! I am not necessarily a purse person, but I fell in love witih this pink one!

The Eaton Centre must be gorgeous all decked out for Christmas!

Oh...it really is! This year I will take pictures of it! In 2010, I got a picture of the huge Christmas Tree they put up - but I took it on my BlackBerry and the quality is not that good. This year - I'll actually take my camera!

I finally caught up on two day's worth of Countdown posts - wow! It only took an hour or so cheesy

I know...just stay away for a day - and there is a lot of catching up to do! But...what fun it is!

I hope you make sure to get some rest and recharge your batteries!

I hope you are enjoying the weekend as well!

Ahhhhh! The memories of Saturday Morning Cartoons! You posted my all time favorite cartoon as well!

I have mentioned this once before but it tickles me when I think of it. A conversation I had with my kids when they were little. I mentioned to them about watching, Saturday Morning Cartoons. They said, "what's that"? Doh! Of course they don't know what it is, they have cartoons 24/7! We had to wait until Saturday to get a marathon of them, 5-6 hours straight. Then it was time to go outside to play, nothing else to watch.

Oh my...you are right! I remember getting excited for Saturday Morning Cartoons. I'd plunk myself in front of that TV from 8am to noon - and then I was off! To wait for Saturday morning cartoons was a special treat to have. Thanks for the memory, CAH!

it's done....this one if for my daughter's house warming party this afternoon. It is a vanilla cake with a hint of banana, caramel and butter cream filling. Iced with more butter cream topped with rolled fondant decorations. Just something quick and simple as she did not want a real fancy cake.

It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
