Happy Victoria Day to my northern friends!

How is the day celebrated? Do you have a family gathering or is it to some, just a day off of work?

Hey thanks, CAH! For us (my hubby and I) its just a day off work (ahhhhhh...sooooo nice!). We would have to be completely insane to get together as a family - because traffic on the highways is absolutely crazy during this particular weekend! My family is gettig together here next weekend though!!!

Wintry mix for Texas in May? Major typo on the Weather Channel! The temps are suppose to be as high as 90 degrees with lows of mid 70's all week.


Right now it's storming and in the mid 70's. The Weather Channel on tv just gave our local weather and it read "wintry mix" for our area. Ha ha! I wish!

I don't know about where you are - but here in Brantford, we've had pockets of rain sweep through (with sunshine in between). They weren't call for that here. Its raining at the moment - but I'd love to be able to get outside at some point. Maybe it will be a "singing in the rain" moment cheesy

it ended up raining when everyone arrived, so we did BBQ, but ate inside. Had a wonderful visit.

Her fever is down but she is still complaining about sharp pains behind her belly button. She doesn't seem to be getting them as often though.

Oh and most excellent news! (Wayne's World anyone? hah) My Sister had her baby yesterday! Madison Rose. So I'm an Uncle! We are going to go down this weekend to see the baby and visit.

Terrible news on the tornados last night. At that same time we were issued a tornado watch but ended up with severe thunderstorms. My little doggy was so terrified all night.

I pray for all those affected.

Awwwww.....poor little baby !!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! It has been busy day here in central Indy. My mom gave herself a migraine last night worrying about my niece so we ended up at the ER with her this morning because her Doctor is on vacation this week. Her Doctor is rather useless anymore if you ask me. She only works 2 days a week for three weeks and then the 4th week she works 4 days. Then she takes vacations all the time. My sister had her and switched because you could never get in and usually had to end up going to the walk in clinic. My plans for the rest of the day involves taking a nap and then watching the season finale of House. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Well Im home from Florida... I have a lot to catch up here at MMC =0). Vacation was nice but the Boys and I got sick the last few days.. and Im still fighting this cold..our flight was delayed coming home so that part wasnt fun either. Feels good to be home..now give me a few weeks of summer and lets head into the Fall and our favorite time of the year cheesy

That's another tree down - a hedge kind of broke the fall so the house wasn't hit (NOT mine). Neighbour's trampoline has ended up in another neighbour's garden and the roof has blown partially off another house

Not usual May weather, thank goodness. Off to take the dogs out for another fly now; don't like this :-?

Oh...I'm sorry you couldn't enjoy it outside - but am happy you had a great visit! The weather has been funny all day, hasn't it? Rain one minute - sun the next...all day. I'm just happy we got some sun so that we could spend some time outside.

WOW! Its been some day today! Busy - but fun!

I had to put in a few hours of work this morning. I had a lunch break and watched a show. I then prepared supper. After that - hubby and I took Mercedes out for a good walk (that was her second one of the day). The weather had cleared up - so we decided to start cleaning up the front garden. Well...you know how much work and energy goes into doing that! After that we went out back to read. I then swept and washed the kitchen and dinnette floors. Oh...and I did a few loads of laundry today too. I played guitar for about an hour and then we had dinner.

By the time dinner was done...I was spent. I've got zero energy left and if I could go to sleep right now - I really would, but that would mean I'd wake up at 2:30am...and even for a morning person (like me) - that would be way too early! cheesy

I cannot help but think about those in Joplin, Missouri. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Well folks...that's all I've got. I think my brain is already sleeping.
