Glad all was safe during the recent outbreak. It was slightly dicey here....tornado cloud about 6 miles south of town. You could stand outside and see it. Spooky.

I hope to never be where I can see a tornado, so glad you are keeping safe!

So we are actually going get some warm weather? Like I said before...I've been wearing my Spring coat still! The family is coming over on Saturday - and it looks like the weather will be a good in Brantford!

yes, we only live an hours drive apart, I had to wear a jacket this morning when I went out. If you ever make it out to a show at the theater be sure to stop in for a cup of tea! cheesy

Despite that fact, we are finally predicted to top out below 90 this afternoon with little chance of rain.
(Might get some on the trip south, however.)

Ok after all of my research I think I have an idea of when HSN is going to do there Christmas in July. The Sorelle sisters are scheduled to be at HSN on July 19th and 20th. They usually have the Todays Special for CIJ. So based on past years I am guessing that HSN's CIJ will start the night of the 19th and go through the 20th. That is just a guess though.

I had to laugh this morning at breakfast...I asked my 4 1/2 year old Son what kind of Birthday theme we should do for his little Brother ... who will be 2 years old in August... he said Frosty the Snowman.. he knows his little Brother LOVES Frosty.. I think its a cute idea but not sure about it since his Birthday is in August..what do you guys think? Also not sure if I could find anything Frosty themed plates, decorations etc.. but was thinking I could probably find some stuff with snowflakes on it and we have a friend who makes cakes so Im sure she would be able to design a Frosty cake!

I just got my grade for my thesis! and I got a 7 (that's kind of like a B I guess) I am so totally excited, this means I graduated all courses for my BA degree I did it, I can't believe it, but I did it!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is chilly and overcast here in northern California. My mouth still hurts and I am getting a cold! What is it with getting a cold in May? It's almost as weird as the weather. As Jeff was talking about in a reply to one of my posts, weather here in California is really not bad. It's either rainy, hot, cool (and sometimes cold in the north), hot, rainy, and hot!!! Luckily we don't normally get tornadoes or hurricanes or typhoons. Of course we have earthquakes and fires. But I would rather put up with that than all the storms going on in the South. How scary is that? Brad, if you find out more on that dog, let us know. Have a great, dry day everyone!

That sounds cute! You could stack up little balls of ice cream to make snowmen.

Morning All,

It hasn't rained yet today which is a good start as we are heading off for a Bank holiday camping trip when the children finish school. I have my fingers firmly crossed that it stays dry so we can at least get the tent up!

Just been checking through the TV listings and we have a Home Alone movie on every Sunday for the next 4 weeks. I've sky+'d them so we can keep watching.

This is the first year I haven't bought any gift wrap in the sales and I have a stack of gifts I'd like to wrap but will have to wait till September to buy any. Oh well - that will teach me!

We are potty training the youngest at the moment and its tough! She is so independent and wont accept any help from us, but she is doing really well and was completely dry yesterday and demanded biscuits as a reward! she's not backwards in coming forwards!

I need to go load the car - take care ya'll speak to you again Monday!
