I was home sick again today, stayed in bed the whole day, or up to about 2 hours ago. Just feeling so lousy. Bruins lost last night so game 7 for all the marbles again tomorrow night.

By the way - just wanted to say that I love the compassion that I see here towards the victims of all of the recent storms. The Joplin storms hit close to my heart as a Missourian, but also because it is hitting home because of the damage done to our Chick-fil-A there. All of the team members are safe and accounted for - but every single one of the employees houses are completely demolished and so they have no where to live and now their job is compromised bc the store will have to be completely demolished and rebuilt - a 6-8 month process. I just can't imagine.

Holy smokes. I cannot imagine how much life has been turned upside down for these folks. My heart goes out to them.

Really thinking about Christmas a lot the past few days since I have been back from vacation. For Rudolph Day yesterday I listened to some Christmas music with the kids and made a nice dinner.. chicken, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, rolls, corn..and peanut butter cookies. It was yummy!

Oh, you're making me hungry ... any leftovers in the fridge??

My mouth still hurts and I found out why. It is very bruised inside my upper lip and there is a huge blood blister! Yuck! It hurts to talk because the tooth rubs against the upper lip and it can't seem to heal. Ouch!!

Shame on your dentist for being so rough!! Have you tried an oral anesthetic? At the drugstore you can usually find a gel or paste that will adhere to the sore place inside your mouth that numbs it and protects it and helps it to heal. I can't think of product names just now, but look around in the toothpaste/oral health aisle, or ask the pharmacist. I hope that heals up soon---mouth sores are so painful considering their size.

Oh no! I am soooooo far behind in reading posts! And it looks like I may get further behind as I have to work again this evening. That's okay - there is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm in the midst of interviewing assistants to help me - and I got word today that I'll be able to hire a second assistant in a couple of months! YAY! That will free up my evenings...to be here!

Just wanted you all to know that I am thinking about you - and that every time I listen to my Christmas music (which is every day)...I think of you and MMC! Nope...you're not far from my thoughts and (Christmas) heart!

I'll try to pop in later on!

Ok after all of my research I think I have an idea of when HSN is going to do there Christmas in July. The Sorelle sisters are scheduled to be at HSN on July 19th and 20th. They usually have the Todays Special for CIJ. So based on past years I am guessing that HSN's CIJ will start the night of the 19th and go through the 20th. That is just a guess though.

Hey friends! Hope this finds all doing well. Congrats Bradmac on Member of the Month! That's great! Good for you!

Been a good few days here, but busy. This weekend, we are supposed to dry out and I'm hoping that I can get outside and work in my yard. That would be great!

Glad all was safe during the recent outbreak. It was slightly dicey here....tornado cloud about 6 miles south of town. You could stand outside and see it. Spooky.
