Good Morning, Friends.
Carl saw that and it has given him ideas!
Not only would he like to serve some at the 'Pines, he would like to cross them with a batch of fired twinkies to come up with "Fired Twinklings"!
Red and green frosted, of course.
That Camel!
On that somewhat tasty(?) note, on with the count, which is ALWAYS in good taste.

Days to the Season: 171
Days to Christmas Day: 213
UNDER two weeks now until the 200-day Christmas Window!
A little breezy here but calm with more heat ahead. We are again predicted to reach the low to mid 90's before some relief comes tomorrow.
Low chance of rain.
OK. Travel alert.
Lost my last Uncle at the age of 88 and we will be attending his funeral in Florida over the weekend.
A countdown volunteer will be needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings (and possibly Monday. We aren't yet sure if we will come home on Sunday or Monday).
Hey! My older niece just left for Italy yesterday afternoon on a month's trip as part of an education opportunity through NC State University where she just completed her sophomore year.
(We are already looking forward to her return and her stories!)
You have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks.
Wow!It's a noun, not a verb! Kinklings are pastries that are traditionally made and eaten on Shrove Tuesday. They're deep-fat fried (like donuts), then coated with powdered sugar. (You shake 'em in a brown paper bag with powdered sugar in it.)......
