Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good morning,

Back to work in a couple hours. I am afraid of the mess I will be walking into, at least I will stay cool working in a cooler that is set between 35-40*F. Stanley Cup Final game 1 starts tonight, I will miss the first period, but should be home for the start of the second. Enough of the prognostications, I can't wait. Go B's!

Month 6 is here half way to month 12!

Man, it is HOT. All I do in the summer is complain about the heat! I just can't take it! I am blonde and fair-skinned - I am not meant for heat!!! My poor kids and hubby hate it, too (we're all blonde except our little Noel, who came out a redhead!!) We are so much happier when it's cold!

We walked to the store to pick up some fruit at about 8 and by the time we got home at 9ish, it was unbearable outside! One more day of heat before it cools down.. wahooo!!!

My wife and JP like and handle the heat well, LC and I are absolutely miserable and cannot stand it.*(

We finally hit 70 here yesterday -- seems like a long time since it was that warm. It was still a little nippy last night but we slept with the window open for the first time since last summer. Daughter turns 15 on Sunday....asked if I could promise her it wouldn't rain.

I am sitting here and just realized I am Christmas multi-tasking I have MCR on in the background, watching A Hollywood Christmas on TV, and I am here on MMC. Don't ask me why I have music and TV on at the same time because I don't even know why. cheesy I guess that is a good way to spend June 1.

We finally hit 70 here yesterday -- seems like a long time since it was that warm. It was still a little nippy last night but we slept with the window open for the first time since last summer. Daughter turns 15 on Sunday....asked if I could promise her it wouldn't rain.

Good luck with that - if you do manage it please can you ask for the same for my daughters 12th birthday 9th August and as in the UK it always rains during Summer time!

good morning party people. kandice woke up to a little tummy pain and a slight fever....I dont know what it is or was....but she seems to be back to normal again....weird.....maybe she was growing tonight....sometimes they get a lil fever from it.

at 10am i will call my former employer....i might be able to start working there again....not the same position...but a job is a job eh?

I hope kandice gets feeling better and Good Luck with the job!!!!!!!!

Bright, sunny, calm and soon to be hot again.
Once again, the weather service predicts 97 degrees for our afternoon high.
We are already at 75.

OK! Carl is already at the Shispering Pines with gallons and gallons of Sweet Southern Iced Tea fresh out of the frige. Good for washing down those lucious fired twinkies.

I hope Carl has the A/C cranked up!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy June 1st!!!!!!!!!! Where has the year gone? It seems like just a couple of days ago that I was cleaning up after my new years eve party. I don't have much planned for today so maybe I will put a christmas movie in while I do my laundry. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon all! Here in jolly old London Ontario its a nice nice nice, did I say nice? 70 degrees outside. NO HUMIDITY! Yesterday I thought I would melt but today is OH so nice. I had lunch outside today and I WONT need the a/c on. We will be able to open the windows at home too! Well popping in to say hi. Back to work I go and Ill stop by the pines after work. Ill bring a case of Christmas cds to play for celebrating half way through the year!!

Good morning, Christmas family!

The sun is shining and it is breezy out. I have to go to the mall today and check on the booth. It will be a fun morning of dusting and rearranging - I get to mingle with the customers, too, which is a lot of fun! I love hearing their stories and watching their faces light up when they see an item that brings back so many memories!! Later on I'm going to browse shops for new stock. If I get back in time, I will log in a few hours in my other job. I got in quite a few hours yesterday and am paying the price today with a headache - hopefully it will be gone in an hour.

Good morning Christmas friends!

I'm just about at work. I actually didn't get home from work last night until 8:30pm! Yup...it was a long day. I presented a job offer to the one I'd like to hire to assist me - and I'm pretty sure she will accept!

Oh...just wanted to share that I found out my grandchild who is due in October is a GIRL! That will make 2 granddaughters! Everyone is soooooo excited! Another little one to share my love of Chritmas with!
