Good Morning from a hot and humid central Indy!!!!!! It is 76 right now and we are expecting a high of 89 later today. Hopefully the maintenace crew will get here soon and fix my air conditioner. I haven't checked for any new info on CIJ for a few days so that is my plan for today. I also have some cleaning to do. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Nancy's birthday

Happy Birthday Nancy!

Good morning from Wisconsin...heading toward 87 and humid, but this morning our local forecasters have sounded the alarm for heavy thunderstorms. So I am looking out at very gray skies...blech!
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

I want rain instead of the 99 degree weather expected today! Stay safe through the storms!

Kids have a stomach bug so we won't be doing much of anything...

I hope they get well soon!

Skin cancer report: I had mentioned a little while back and haven't reported since. I have been back and forth from the doctor to have a biopsy done. I got the report this morning that I did have skin cancer and they were able to remove it all! YAY! Wear your sunscreen kiddos! cheesy

Now onto a different subject. =) Have you ever heard of a kid who loves taking naps? My granddaughter, who will be 2 in August, amazes me! I have a playpen set up for her to take naps in. She will run to the playpen and try to climb in and says, "I want to go night night". I put her in it and she will go out for a nap on her own!

I am not sure if I caught up on everyone's post. I haven't been on since yesterday morning and there are a lot to read.

Yes, my niece, who is six-years-old. After lunch, she will tell you she's going to lay down and she'll sleep for hours, then cry when you wake her up! She should have been mine so we could take afternoon naps together. My six-year-old just plays around the house & lets me get my Sunday afternoon nap. She knows to leave me alone & ask DH if she needs something. I could take a nap every afternoon for a couple of hours, but I have to work!

Good deal! I've always preferred a window unit to a central unit. I know I've said it before, but the hum of a window unit is very relaxing.

I went in and he gave me a shot of cortizone in my shoulder; now we will wait and see what happens. I still cannot talk! Weird!!! Happy birthday to Nancy, Bradmac. CAH, glad you got a good report. I, too, say put up the 7-foot tree! I have to go into work soon, so I will try to talk to you later. Have a great day!

just had some pizza and am now watching a jackie chan movie. startin to feel tired a bit.

today I got into the first real rainfall since february.....I didnt think it would actually rain and went to the city and then pick up Kandice from pre-school.....unfortunately it started to rain....and my clothes, skin and hair were soaked in water...lol

Today is Nancy's birthday, which means we're going out to eat this evening, and I don't have to work in the deck! Yeehaw! I get a birthday present, too!

We had cake and coffee last night for her birthday, then tonight we're going to Olive Garden with the family, then back for for coffee and tiramisu...good stuff!

Good afternoon!

I hope this finds everyone doing well! I'm on a break at work and am trying to catch up on the boards. Gorgeous day out, but hot. Looks like two days of almost 92 degrees and then we drop down into the low 70s and 60s with more rain. I'll take it - this dry weather has been great for dropping the water table down and I just might not have to worry about flooding in the basement if it rains hard.
