Good morning Christmas buddies! 196 days until Christmas! Woo hoo!

We're up and getting ready for church this morning. After that, it will be lunch and then over to my friend's house to do the Christmas shopping, then hopefully off to my parents to go swimming. This could be a very busy day!!

Hope ya'll have a great day cheesy I'll check back in this evening and hopefully tell you about all of my new Christmas finds!
 
Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're walking out the door for church, so I'll be brief.

Today is my mom's birthday! We got her a new 12MP digital camera with a 10X optical zoom so she can get those mountain scenes she wants to capture.

Nancy is going overnight to Atlanta today after church with her sister and their neice to do some shopping. I hate it when she's away, but she's been looking forward to it for a couple weeks. I guess I need to man-up.

I finally have some shoes on for the first time since I broke my toe. They are dress shoes that fit a little looser than tennis shoes, so it's not too bad. I may have to wear a suit to work tomorrow. Dressing for success!

had a great weekend so far, went for breakfast with my fiance yesterday morning, had the most gorgeous full english breakfast and latte, it was lovely to have some quality time together as life is so rushed at the minute as i have so much college work to do, it's taking over my life! i also managed to catch up with my girlfriends last night, we had drinks and something to eat so that was nice!

today will consist of revision for my exam on tuesday and finishing off some case studies for college... i'll be so glad when it's all over, i'm finding that running my home, taking care of my daughter, being in college 4 days a week and then having lots of homework to do quite challenging! lets hope it'll all be worth it in the end.

on a positive note... christmas in july soon!!! cheesy

My wife was doing something very similar the last few years, with the kids, job, and going to school for her Master's. Stick with it, it is a lot on your plate but in the end it will be worth it.

By the way, what is a full English breakfast?
 
Had to hurry back from Kohls, as the guests I thought were NOT coming now ARE coming - eek!

Scored 2 gifts for the kids for $4!!! (After $10 gc I got in the mail) I love Christmas shopping year-round!

I feel overwhelmed many days with just 2 kids, a house, and a hubby so I can only imagine what adding school would be like, eek! Hang in there!

Slept like a log last night, it is a cold day today, rainy and only in the 50's. Just a few days ago it was near 100, and now this. The weather is definitely wacky around here lately. Watching Shrek Forever After with the boys right now, they are really enjoying it, they are so quiet. The graduation party starts around 1.

Good morning, friends!!!

Busy weekend so far....been running all over this state this week and I'm afraid next week will be more of the same. Went to a friend's wedding last night and it was great. Today, I'm gotta work at a baseball tourney as a volunteer umpire, which means I get yelled at for free! HAHA. I usually have a thick skin, but getting yelled at by a guy coaching an 8 year old baseball team usually gets all over me. The kids are 8 yrs for crying out loud! Teach them baseball, not how to be a.......well......you know what Clark said about the guy emptying his tank into the sewer in Christmas Vacation.

The good news...I get to be around baseball today. Can't beat that!

Days to Christmas Day: 196
Two weeks from today, Guys -- the half-way Milestone to Christmas Day!

It's been hot and humid here for several days now with an occaisional rain to temporarily ease things.
We stand at 77 right now under sunny skies and under a 50-60 percent chance of rain some time today.

Well, my younger niece graduated from HS yesterday evening at our downtown Convention Center. Then on to my father's house for cake and gifts.
(Hard to believe my 2 "little" nieces are now adult graduates!)

You all have a Super Sunday, Y'hear?
 
how u guys doing. all fine over here....had some beers yesterday after an awesome conversation on the phone....Kandice stayed over the night at her uncle s place and was proud that she really made it without crying.....going to a little carnival now with rides and food and stuff and then chill at home ....hope to be talking to ya soon
 
Dear, Christmas friends. Have you ever heard the saying, "That's just the liquor talking"? Well, last night when I said I was getting better, that was just the medicine talking! Not a good start to the day today and not a lot of medication left. I just wish they could go in and put some long-lasting numbing medicine on those ribs. I think I will rest all day and try not to bring you guys down with my whining. No more dancing on the table tops for me!!

Cold, chilly, and showery again today. Bleh. When I finish going through the forums, I will go downstairs and get acquainted with my new digital recorder. Haven't thoroughly tried it out yet.

I wanted some of the numbing stuff when I broke my tail bone, but at least I could breathe without pain.
Whine away, I have lots of cheese here and you need to do something to help you feel better! Beside, who better than a bunch of Christmas crazy people to be able to support you at this time!

I have an idea, quite brilliant if I do say so myself. Next time, along with the picture of the cake, let us know the address. Then we can go there posing as quality control and say we need to taste-test the cakes. WOW! Then we could have us some cake!
