Christmas Countdown - 2011

Just wanted to say that, while not a Mavs fan, I was glad to see them win the finals last night. I watched a few games (those were the only ones I watched all year) and couldn't stand they way some Heat players were whining non-stop. There is a part of me that is really getting sick of professional sports.

Oh boy. At the corner of Oxford and Richmond here in London Ontario a 22ft deep longer then two car sink hole has opened! A manhole tunnel collapsed. BUSY intersection. I was almost late for work!!! Thank GOD nobody was hurt because it happened late Sunday. Well the weekend was nice. Sunday was in the 50's! YES. It was a teaser for fall and I want more. lol. Well I hope everyone has a good day! Sorry to make it short but I have to get back to work hehe!

Hi all! Sorry I don't have any time to read the post. My mother and I are taking the grandkids to San Antonio Riverwalk and Seaworld. Wayne and my son will be home taking care of the house and pets. I will post all the fun we will be having when I get back. Our hotel will have internet so I will post if I get a chance.

Good morning, Christmas family!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and all the aches and pains of the previous week are gone or on the mend!

It is a gorgeous morning out. I so want to take a walk, but I am afraid I would be drained of all my blood in no time as the mosquitoes are numerous and very hungry. They have been spraying, so hopefully it will ease soon. When they spray three times a week after barely once a week the previous years, you know it is bad!

Working today and cleaning house later - fun! I love the smell of lemon oil or lemon spray wax so it will be a good day cheesy

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy's in Atlanta with her sister, so the kids and I had to survive without her. I let them pick anything they wanted for supper, and they chose a sub sandwich from Subway...LOL! I got some mongolian beef from the local Chinese place and we pigged out.

We finally got a little rain yesterday, and it was wonderful! Maybe the Lord will send us some more soon.

lots of homework and revision and revision on the cards today :-?

i'll be having lots of cups of coffee to get me through so it's all good.

it's father's day this coming sunday in the U.K, and i've ordered the most adorable card for my fiance from our daughter. it has a picture of him holding her for the first time when she was newborn on the front and inside it reads "remember when i was this tiny daddy? i will always be your little girl even when i'm all grown up" he'll love it! we are also taking him out for a sunday roast in our favourite restaurant to celebrate father's day (sunday roast is either beef/chicken/pork/lamb with roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, lots of veg, yorkshire pudding and gravy - just incase you were wondering!) i'm sure i'll wash it down for a couple of glasses of wine, our daughter will wash it down with some juice and he'll wash it down with a few pints of lager, after all it's a special day cheesy

Good afternoon, friends! We had a fabulous storm here last night, with almost continuous thunder, high winds, and very hard rain. In the midst of all of this, the firetrucks and ambulances pulled up to a house down the street. Not sure if it was storm related or not, but I felt sorry for the people who had to be out in that mess (patient and caregivers alike). After all that, my Mom lost her electric which, living where we do, means you don't have electric OR water. Since we live next door and still had our electric, we just ran a heavy cord next door so she could have at least her refrigerator and a light working. Fortunately she did have the electric back this morning. There was lots of debris on the roads on the way to work-the storm must have been pretty widespread. This morning our weather was cooler (in the 70's) and sunny and beautiful; much better than the weekend!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It has been a beautiful couple of days here in central Indy. We had a high of 72 yesterday and today they are calling for a high of 76. I had to babysit my youngest niece yesterday while my sister took my oldest niece to the ER. She was having sharp pains in her stomach again but they still couldn't figure out why. The blood work showed inflamation but all they could tell her was to set up an appointment with a GI doctor. My sister called this morning and they can't get her in until october. So hopefully the medicine they gave her for spams helps until then. I have been busy cleaning this morning and now I am going to kick back and relax for awhile before I go for a walk with my neighbor. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
